I've put Slice of Cake on hiatus because I plan to update it very, very slowly and mostly after the original fic it's a prequel of goes further.

Imprisoned, But Not Alone is getting a similar treatment because while it's about half as hated as the fic it's a rewrite of, it's still nowhere near my best work and I plan to wrap it up early with a larger-than-normal chapter instead of the slow-and-steady updates.

The Moondancer fic is doing well, and will be getting another update shortly.

So, it's clear I bit off more than I could chew with my most recent story (Non-Compete Clause: Cruel Aftermath); too many different ideas were woven together and I missed that the darkness was just far too much as a premise.
I could try rewriting it progressively, but at this point, it's already gotten very poor exposure and it would probably become a mess. Therefore, I'm going to have to can it and start over. The original story will still be there for posterity, marked canceled.

Now that the Apples and Oranges fic is done, I want to keep on with some fics that aren't the fetishy mess of Slice of Cake (but it will continue to get updates on a regular basis). The next fic to come out will be about some of the mane 6 relying on their friendship with each other to keep up their spirits as they await execution; it will be my first attempt at a teen rating and will have some themes in common with the Apples and Oranges fic, along with my first real stab at proper shipping.

Since I managed to get out two stories today, to a rather warm reception, I would like to mention my plans for updating them.
Apples & Oranges will take priority as it's shorter and more wholesome. I'll try to get out a new chapter every few days, so it should be complete within the week.
Slice of Cake not only has longer chapters, but is planned out for far more chapters, so it will be quite the slog to get it done; expect around a chapter every week or two and completion in a few months.

The bulk of the reason for the delays is that I started a job early this month. I'll try to get into a habit of writing a few chapters each weekend. I still plan to do the AJ story first, it should be out in mid June, with the shipping fic not far behind.

I wrote the Zipporwhill fic on a bit of a whim as something to get my feet wet, so to speak. The first fic I started on is a SFW shipping fic that will be my first foray into shipping, and before I submit it, I'll likely submit the other SFW fic I'm working on, which will be about a bit of culture clash featuring Applejack with the Oranges.
