My story for Tropical Post-Apocalyptic contest.

Amber Ferment came to Manhattan a few months ago. Coming from a family of hereditary brewers, she naturally decided to open her own bar. But knowing how to brew alcohol doesn't mean knowing how to sell it. And unfortunately, Amber learned that the hard way.

In the end, she went completely bankrupt and ended up in debt. So what's the bat pony gonna do with it? Of course she'll go to a faraway island so that the debt collectors won't get to her! Even better, this particular piece of land grows mangoes and other plants. It's all good!

But, what are those strange flashes coming from the big land?

Daniel was the only human in Equestria. During this time, he managed to do a lot of things. Starting from defeating mane six and ending with dropping chandeliers on Chrysalis. It seemed that life had improved and one could remember what rest was. This illusion was only reinforced when Celestia gave Daniel a trip to the tropical islands.

Unfortunately for him, another human had recently arrived in Equestria. And the princess felt that Daniel could and should help the newcomer to Equestria.

This was another bad decision she'd made.

Recently, during Prince Blueblood's trip to Manehattan, he was completely attacked. All investigators were able to get was a recording of a phone call between the perpetrators of the crime and a made-up couple seconds before it began. Based on the conversation, the following information about the perpetrators was obtained:

“The leader” is the organizer and overseer of the entire operation. Very lazy, very impulsive to loud noises, greedy. It's impossible to determine.

“Pizza foal” is a pizzeria worker, presumably in his late teens. Responsible for phone service within the operation. Not proactive, quiet, modest, rarely participated in dialog.

“Fanatic” is the one who attacked the prince. Based on recorded conversation, extremely fanatical about serving the night. Whatever it is. Cold, calm, and confident. Of all the participants, he was the one who had the most dislike for the prince.

Yesterday, a letter arrived in Twilight's mailbox. It was a letter from her parents, asking her to go to their old country house and get some important things before the house was sold. No one had visited the building in years, so it had obviously taken on an unpleasant appearance.

Well, the list of things to pick up is pretty short, so I don't think I'll be here too long.

Twilight has always been a great student. Any grade below an A seemed completely unrealistic. Today, when Twilight has a math test, it seems that everything will go perfectly as always.

Unfortunately, the test was too short.

The war that engulfed the whole world had an incredible impact on the minds of all beings. However, it is difficult to argue with the fact that the war had the greatest impact on ordinary soldiers. Everyone has experienced a wide range of emotions. The euphoria of victory over an ancient enemy, fear for the future, blind confidence in the correctness of ideals and much more.

All these feelings require someone to come out. And what could be better than a song?

I am not very experienced in poetry, so I really appreciate any advice and comments.

Daniel is the only human in Equestria who has lived there for a year. Selfish, the main fan of violence, absolutely immoral, incredibly rude, almost incapable of empathy, considers all the people around him to be garbage and these are only his best qualities. In general, the last person who deserves to go to another world. Even the arch of redemption won't help much.

Unfortunately for all the villains, Daniel agreed to calm down a little and start protecting Equestria if he gets paid. To make matters worse, he solves ninety-nine percent problems with brute force.

Sunset didn't know this when she was going to steal Twilight's crown.

This is a submission to the Shining Armor is a Terrible Dad Competition

Shining has done housework quite often in his entire life. A little less than zero times. And it definitely has nothing to do with laziness, it's just not adapted for this task.

Unfortunately, today Cadance will go on an important diplomatic mission and leaves a list of household chores for Shining. He had never been so close to breaking his astronomical record of household chores.

It's good that Shining has a daughter who will absolutely be happy to do all the work for him. Right?

Diego had been living in Equestria for a little less than a month. Well, that's what it says in all the documents for the last six months. In any case, his life was quite peaceful. Surprisingly, when all his neighbors lose things, he only gets more of them. Well, it's just an accident, right?

However, any lie is revealed sooner or later. And today this day has come, the day when Luna personally came to Diego's house. The day when justice will prevail. Unfortunately, there are two problems for the princess.

First, she was sent to do this during the day, when she did not even sleep properly and did not drink at least a pool of coffee.

And secondly, Diego is ready for this meeting.

Jack Hanna got into Equestria not so long ago. But all this time he remained himself. A cold titan who lives with only one goal: to become stronger. But he only talks to one pony regularly. Rainbow Dash. It was she who not only impressed him with her speed, but also doesn't seem to pay much attention to his size and strength, which frighten most ponies.

It seems like today is the most ordinary day that Jack will spend working out to exhaustion again. This is partly true, but one feeling bothers him when he looks at Rainbow.

This is my first story that even tries to be romantic, so I would really like to get constructive criticism.
