Shining Armor always wanted Flurry to become a strong and great royal guard just like him. She always had powerful magic since her birth, and that's why it came as a surprise when she instead chose painting as her career. He was reluctant, but Cadance managed to convince him.

Flurry had spent her whole life going against her parents wishes, she didn't want to be like them. She wanted to be herself. And at least in this school, she could express herself however she wanted.

But of course, things can't be that easy, can they?

I know it's mostly a shitposting contest, but I wanted to write Shining. And I think this turned out well, although if I had a higher word limit, I would've written more and fleshed it out just a tiny bit more. Still, I hope you'll read this and enjoy it.

Just a few days ago, the CMCs asked for the mane 6's help. They have tried to get cutie marks in most things, but not one specific thing. As homicide detectives. Politely, they asked if Twilight was willing to help them find out if they're fit for the job. She agrees.

Fluttershy was enjoying her early morning. Was, in the past. Now, she's DEAD! and it's up to the Cutie Mark Crusaders Homicide detectives to find the true culprit. They must see through the muddied waters of lies in order to reach the truth.

Once a shy and introverted pony, now the resigned ruler of an entire nation, Twilight has been through it all. From boring talks with politicians, crazy battles against powerful foes, helping ponies in need, among many other legendary and not so legendary feats. After all that, she has assigned someone new for the position, and resigned from her throne, deciding to lay low and enjoy the rest of her years. But death is the only certain thing in life, and now, she has outlived her finite years.

Laying on the beach one sunset, the grim reaper gives her a visit. They end up having a small chat.

After freeing Canterlot from Queen Chrysalis' clutch and taking down King Sombra, Twilight thought she could finally take a moment of rest. But unfortunately, that won't happen so soon.

Crystal ponies report strange magical occurrences on the frozen wastes, deep in the cold and empty snow covered landscape where no pony would even dare to live. Princess Cadance is worried this might be the sign of another villain attempting to take over Equestria, so she calls for help on the only pony she trusts to handle these matters without causing a stir.

However, the Mane 6 would find themselves with a bigger problem at hoof than they expected. Will they make it out alive, or will only their frozen whispers remain?

Moondancer was sure something was strange with her home, and she was determined to find out why. The line between reality and nightmare becomes blurred as she goes deeper down the rabbit hole. Will she able to keep her sanity by the end of her trip?

Trying something for the first time can often times be frustrating. You may want to give up, but perseverance will always pay off in the end. Octavia knew this, but she needed a little reminder from a special somepony to make her realize it.
