After years of a developing friendship with the redeemed Element of Chaos, Fluttershy decides to try and change her relationship with him with the encouragement of her dearest friends. But when Discord's reaction shocks Fluttershy and her friends, the ponies must find Discord and seek out the answers to how a mortal pegasus and an immortal being can have a happy ending.

A presequel? Discord has shown slight time traveling abilities so having him go back into the past with Fluttershy to talk with Vermilion would be an interesting twist. Discord's chaotic Powers allow him to visit the past but when he returns to his actual time the memories of him being there disappear from the memories of those in the past. Maybe have them go back because Fluttershy wants a "asking Vermillions permission to Marry Discord" moment and Discord gets a kind of closure.
