Research.

Just finished rewatching the two Next Gen Moriarty episodes and took some pretty extensive notes. Will do the same with the various DS9 scenes/episodes concerning Vic Fontaine over the course of the next few days or so. Oh, and I finally finished watching the rest of Voyager over the past weekend as well. Soon, once this "research" is done, I should be pretty much ready to start on ep 2 of Star Trek: Pegasus.

1085656 For what it's worth, I've just finished the first pass of part 1 of episode 2. I don't intend to post ep 2 until both parts are finished and mostly polished up, though. I've contacted the one (1) person who replied to my previous request for pre-readers (though that request was admittedly relatively hidden deep down in the author's notes at the end of ep 1 of ST:P) and will hopefully be passing have already passed it along to them if/when I hear back from them (though given it's been 12 weeks between then and now, who knows what'll come of it). Failing that I may put out another call for pre/beta-readers later.

Or, hell, I'll just do it now. Anyone reading this who wants to be a pre/beta reader for this stuff, PM me. I'm not at all sure what the "protocol" for soliciting pre/beta readers is, mind you, as I've never tried to use them before.

In any case, I dearly hope I can get through the second part of ep 2 more quickly than I did the first. >_>;

Oh, and also, considering that thing we discussed a while back in the comments for ep 1, you might be interested to know that I'm fairly sure ep 3 is going to be a time-travel ep, focused around Star Swirl the Bearded. Given I'm into season 2 of Enterprise now, I'm also thinking of maybe working in a Daniels cameo as well. (I'd briefly considered Braxton before, but I kind of don't like that guy, particularly in his later appearance, so most likely no for him, especially given how he ended up. Same goes for these guys. Then again, I won't rule anything out completely at this point, so who knows?)
