So, a couple of updates on some things.

Couple reasons to my recent absence and lack of stuff.
First off, I'd hit a wall and my motivation just kind of tapered out. Combine that with some issues with feedback, and it put me in a rather sour mood in regards to writing.
>'issues with feedback'? What? You've got like a bagillion comments on 'x' or 'x'!
Not here, on 4chan. My roots are there and I post updates more frequently to that site. I find that 4chan tends to give a more harsh feedback than here. Not saying I don't appreciate the feedback I get here, but sometimes I get the feeling people are holding back because they're worried they'll scare me off or something. If you've ever been worried that you'd come across as attacking me or a story because of feedback, don't. I write because I enjoy it, and because I want to improve. I can't improve if I don't know what's wrong. You're not attacking me unless that's your intention.
So, the issue became finding the nuggets of gold that were helpful feedback and separating them from fool's gold trollish feedback. Finally it got to the point where I had a 'heart to heart' more or less with the AiE threads on /mlp/, and since then my motivation appears to have returned, along with helpful feedback and a decline in trollish feedback.

This isn't an invitation to start a 4chan vs FimFiction argument, so please don't. I like both sites, and your opinion likely won't sway mine or anyone else's here.

Now then. That leads into this:
All of my incomplete stories are now on hiatus until further notice. With my issues with motivation and feedback, it was suggested I stop fretting over my older works and jump into something new, so I did. I'm going to keep going with this story until I feel like I've got full steam back and can handle updating more than one story at a time, but until then I will be working on this new story and it alone.

Soon. The first chapter has been written, so I'll convert it to prose sometime soon and post it here. If you don't want to wait for that and don't mind greentext format, you're more than welcome to take a look at it on my pastebin.

On another note, in case you didn't notice already, I'm going back to using blog posts as story updates. It's easier for me to get in touch with readers on specific stories, and allows for comments, critiques, questions, etc that wouldn't normally fit anywhere else. You could also use the shoutbox link on my userpage, if you want to remain anonymous or for whatever other reason.

Finally, Steam. Steam summer sales make you have a conversation with your wallet that it does not enjoy in the slightest.

Whoo. So I think that's that. Sorry if I appeared to rant for a bit, but that's the state of things.
