Screw it.
Really, I have nothing to blame but myself. Yes, I am incredibly busy at university; engineering is lots of work. Yes, I have been in a bit of a funk, but both of those are really excuses. There is no reason I am not able to update any of my stories with regularity other than myself. Several thousand words of week is nothing, and really I know I am capable of writing at least ten thousand. In fact, at one point, while in school no less, I was managing to write ~15000 words a week. So please. If I ever try to make an excuse to take a break from writing that sounds even remotely like I am just being lazy, call me out on it.
I have also failed to live up to many promises I have made in the past few months, and because of that, I would like to give my profound apologies. I know I am better than that.
So let me try and change that.
Collateral will be updated every Saturday, starting this Saturday, till it is finished. Bar the week of final exams (which I am legitimately too busy), I will be posting a new chapter every week. If, for some reason I am unable to finish a chapter in time, I will post make a blog post on the Wednesday prior to the updates, unless it is an emergency.
Once I again, I would like to say I am sorry. I really am. I let a lot of people down, and it is high time I finish the story.
Don't burn out, mate.
If you're really busy and not in the mood for writing, the writing and you will suffer.
It's a good story, and we can wait for it.
I'm more than wiling to wait if that means the quality of your writing remains consistent. I've seen way to many authors burn out trying to write too much too quickly.
