So this is how the popular kids feel….

Friday Night Twilight's popularity continues to astound me, to put it mildly. It’s been in the popular list on the front page for a couple days now. The featured box remains elusive, and that’s ok; over a thousand people have viewed it. I’ve been in the thumb-wrecking habit of checking fimfiction from my phone and (painstakingly) sending a thank-you comment to everyone that’s added a story of mine (primarily Friday Night Twilight) to their favorites list. It saddens me to say that I’m going to have to stop doing that. I sent out over sixty of those comments on Sunday, and even more people had favorited it by the time I was done. I don’t mean to suggest that I’m that big a deal, I’m not. I have a total of four stories published here, one of them wildly more popular than the rest. When handing out thank-you comments starts taking up all my reading and writing time it’s a sign that I need to reassess my priorities. I’m still every bit as thankful for all the comments, likes, watches, and favorites. I’ll do my best to keep churning out quality stories.

Onto the updates! Chapter Four of A String Wedding is now up. The final two chapters will be posted tomorrow. This story was only supposed to be four chapters to begin with, and then the finale kept getting bigger. All of it will be published by Tuesday night. Finally.

Lots of people have been wishing for Friday Night Twilight to keep going. I’m probably going to cave to that demand... It was a fun story to write and I’d love to hear more of Twilight’s somewhat unfiltered banter. That said, I never planned on this being anything more than a one-shot. I didn’t draft out an elaborate ‘what’s really going on in Equestria’ chart full of bombshells for Twilight to drop. If there’s going to a sequel or next chapter, I’ll need to plan a little something out. It’s not impossible, just don’t expect it by this weekend.

Once A String Wedding is over I’ll need to slip into Real Life mode for a bit. The next couple months are going to be all sorts of stressful.
