Write what you know; write what you feel. Give life to that which lacks it, and mend the heart of they who need it most. Love, laugh, and cry. Never be afraid to be yourself. This is me.

    Prereader needed!!!

As you all know, I do all of my own editing for my stories, but I was thinking that it would help to have a second -- or third -- pair of eyes to point out to me if/when I'm missing things, or if things don't seem to make sense. Because of this, I would like to extend an offer to readers/writers who will give an honest critique, and will be able to point out issues with spelling or grammar. I

    Trans-Cosmos group created!

I see a lot of potential for this universe I've accidentally created during my writing, and I wish to invite any and all writers to add to it as they wish to. More info in the group, so check it out if you're interested.

Questions: Round Two · 11:53pm Sep 30th, 2014

It's been quite a while since I've started as a writer on here, and I've gained a fair bit of you as fans and friendly critics, both of which I am thankful for. Of course, as always, not everything can be gathered simply from story dissection or reading my profile, so I usually receive an average of six to ten PM's a week from all of you, asking many different questions. Many of them I answer personally, but for those that have become more and more common among you all, I have once again deemed another answer blog necessary, since I'm sure the ones who gathered up the courage to message me aren't the only one with said questions. With that being said, let the answers flow.

1. "Why are you so vague about your gender when asked?"

I've been getting this question for awhile now, and for those of you I've already spoken to, the answer hasn't changed: I don't think what I have or do not have between my legs should matter. If I have a good story, I want people to like it for its quality, not because it was written by a woman or man.

2. "A lot of your stories have gone a long time without being updated; what's up with that? Are you going to finish them?"

To put it simply, I don't believe in cancelling a story. One never knows when inspiration will strike, nor from where. That being said, some stories are honestly easier to write than others, but a full work schedule and college classes have kept me busy for quite some time, and will continue to do so. As the saying goes, "life happens", and I do my best to roll with things as they happen. Understand that I have not forgotten about any of my stories and aim to finish them all when I have the time, but patience is a must.

3. "Do you have a favorite pony?"

Of course I do, and for those of you who haven't figured it out by my works, it's a tie between Rainbow Dash, Luna, and Celestia.

4. "Do you have any other stories coming soon?"

A few of my readers who have been with me from the beginning know that at any one time, I have around three or four stories active at any one time, with around ten to twenty in the works. I can't say when they'll be released, but know that I have a few unique stories that will be out sometime soon, and hopefully you all will get a bit of an early Christmas from me.

5. "Why do you make characters that aren't American if you don't use the correct terminologies/slang?"

While this question has varied in both length and levels of profanity used, the query has remained the same for the most part. The answer to that is this: I want variety in nationality and ethnicity for my characters and will do my best to use proper speech for them when doing so, but keep in mind that my target audience is predominantly North Americans -- specifically, people of the US. I don't want to spend pages of comments explaining words or references that aren't understood, so I generally try to use enough context clues and familiar terms so that you all can figure the words/phrases out for yourselves.

6. "Do you have any brothers or sisters?"

I'm honestly a little surprised that so many of you ask this question, but I don't mind answering it. I have one sister and one brother; I'm the oldest.

7. "Why don't you do clop?"

Beyond the fact that I honestly suck at writing it (it always feels too mechanical), I have made it a personal mission of mine to show that stories can be popular and loved even without clop in them, regardless of whether it's a story about a single relationship or a harem. So many people complain that using clop is a bit of a cheat for getting in the feature box, and while I'll agree that Many well-written mature stories make it to the feature box, not all of them do so simply because of the graphic nature depicted in the dialogue. I'll be the first one to say that clop is not easy to write without it coming off awkward or bland, so it's definitely not a simple opt-out to true skill in writing. Don't give up, people.

For the moment that's all of the most popular questions I've been asked, but don't be afraid to send me a hit if any of you want to ask something, regardless of what it is. As always, enjoy life, and choose happiness, people.

Mmhmm, many stories you have. I remember that talk. Hope all has been well with ya recently.

I have a question
Why did you comment on my story? Not that that's a bad thing, in fact it's amazing, but still, at the time I had like... 20 followers? If that.

2497590 I don't comment simply because I can; I comment because I have something to say, whether that be straight praise, or criticism that I think could make you a better writer. We're both writers here, so don't make me out to be more important than I am. Stars willing, you'll surpass me someday soon.

2497750 But you're important to me, your story, Legend, was one of the first I had read when I joined this site, besides University Days. You're one of the first people that actually made me consider writing, not as a career per se, but just as a hobby, or a past time. University Days didn't really make me want to start writing, instead making me want to read more. I wouldn't really even call myself a writer. I do it when I'm bored.

EDIT: This whole block of words was all over the place, sorry.

2497800 Whatever your reason for writing, I can honestly say that I do see your story going somewhere. Always have fun with it.

2497838 Well, I appreciate that. Thank you, Dawn.

Wee little side note, I feel like you're a male just by the way you responded to the question of "are you a male or a female."

Glad to hear it, man. We tend to trade words every few months, and I recently came out of a small hiatus here, so been a bit. Still following your stuff here and over on fanfiction, and still slugging through school as well. Credit by credit hours, getting there eventually. Gotta get my fingers back to writing though, been slow at that lately.

2498051 I definitely hear that. Good to hear from you.

Cant wait for Legend to be updated!
