So...life hits kinda hard, sometimes... · 12:13am Jan 24th, 2016
For those of you wondering where the updates are, there are a few reasons that kinda coalesced into a giant wait.
First of all: Christmas is crazy in general. The holidays, as a rule in my household, are spent off of the net and with family (my idea, actually, so don't think families suck, or something like that).
Second: School started with the new year, and so that's kept me pretty busy as well. I have a shift at work every night starting at 3:30p and going to 12:00a, with school during the day. "Free time" is limited, and is often spent resting and preparing myself for the next day.
Lastly, but with the greatest impact: I was in a car accident last weekend, and was unable to do much because of it. Even now, I'm in an immense amount of pain, but typing for short periods of time isn't so bad.
All that having been said, updates are coming, but I just want you to understand that I haven't randomly dropped off the grid for no reason. Besides the fact that I know some of my stories are quite well-loved by the fandom, writing is one of my great passions, and I want to continue to do it for my own enjoyment as much as that of the fans. So, please be a bit patient with me in this time of strife, and I'll pump out some updates when I can.
PS: The vehicle shown is not mine, but it'll give you an idea of just how bad the crash was. Basically, part of the engine was sitting in the cabin with me before the EMS team pulled me out. To those of you that drive, always keep this in mind: people are not perfect, and so they will get distracted on the road or make stupid decisions. Please, for the safety of you and those around you, drive as if someone around you is about to do something really stupid. That guy slightly in front and two lanes to your left? He might suddenly decide to cross over all lanes of traffic to take a right turn at the last moment. Just be careful, people...that's all I'm saying.

PS: The engine just wanted to be your friend! The other car on the other hand has had a envy for your car every since the auto-dealer... they had a fight everday... seems he took the punch pretty hard.
I know; I've seen exactly that kind of turn several times.
The driver on the OUTER lane turns by cutting in front of all the other lanes, forcing people to slam their brakes.
And other such craziness, like when people think "Oh, I can TOTALLY make it if I go faster and turn a bit!". Then they hit someone else.

I'm sorry to here that, I've been in a few crashes myself...
I hate it when people make those reckless turns. That is how accidents start, but I'm glad your okay. Take your time and rest up. I hope you get better.
Wow its good to hear that your ok! Don't worry about the writing for the moment. Updates can wait, healing can't. Hope that you get to feeling better!
