So, as most of you reading have heard from me, I've begun to play pokemon games now. I've now beat just about all the ones I own, and have begun to do special runs on each of them. The most significant of which being a Wonder Locke of X and Y.
For those of you who don't know what a wonder locke is, it's a normal Nuzlocke run except whenever you catch a pokemon, it MUST be put on wondertrade, and you have to use whatever came out first.
Anyway, I finally beat the run after many grueling days of xp farming and gym battling.
My three champions ended up as a level 83 Pidgeot, a level 81 Swampert, and a level 80 Rapidash.
I lost many friends along the way, and they are as follows: level 58 Bisharp, level 49 Graveler, level 45 Honchkrow, level 47 Lopunny, level 37 Ditto, level 66 Mightyena.
I lost three pokemon during the battle with the Elite four, and one against champion Diantha.
Elite Four losses: Level 59 Azumarill, and Level 54 Zangoose. They went down in a blaze of glory, but were sadly not overpowered enough to win.
Championship death: Level 74 Wailord, may he rest in fat, blubbery pieces, the tanky SOB.
I would like to address the rest of this blog post to a moment of silence for our brothers and sisters lost in Nuzlockes and similar runs.
