So While Digging In My Old English Folder I Found Something Very Peculiar. An Unfinished Poem I Wrote During Study Hall Because I Was So Bored. It Was A Poem About Rainbow Dash. Please Note It May Suck... Okay It Does. Incredible To See How Much My Writing Has Evolved. I Also Found Several Fics I Did For Practice. All Of Them Nearly Terrible, But One Half Decent, I Wont Post It On FiMfiction, But I May Put It In My Blog Sometime In The Future.
The warm body pressed against my chest,
Warms my heart with joy, love, and pride.
Her cyan fur, rainbow mane and tail I do not jest,
Her hooves looped tightly around me makes my love unable to hide.
Her name is Rainbow Dash,
A Pegasus mare.
An attitude and personality that is confident but brash.
A heart of loyalty, gold, and full of the love we share.
To betray her would be the death of me,
And as close to me as she is now, I would never let it cross my mind.
Even when we met the thought was impossible to see,
Not because we were friends, but because it was evil and unkind.
Even as I lay awake and Rainbow sleeps,
She still manages to make my heart flutter.
Either she nuzzles into my chest to get closer and make my heart leap,
Or she sighs in content before whispering my name before she shutters.
The small things she has make my heart beat for her,
Her gentle smile, my heart beats to see;
Her magenta eyes, shine more vibrantly than a blooming rose;
Her breathing as she sleeps, while I hold her close.
That's just to name a few.
Never will I hurt Dash.
Never again will she be alone to start a new day.
Yeah I Never Finished But I Can't Help But Feel It Could Have Been Better.
