I said it once before, but...

After reading a ton of displaced fanfics I have decided to eventually try my hand at it. It will take a while, and research needs to be done... but I really want to write this one.

Long story short: It will be taking placed in the displaced continuity with more or less the same gimmick. Here's where I'm planning on deviating though. The main character - given the form, memories, and skills of Skeletor (from the 1980's cartoon) - will arrive in a slightly different Equestria. One where the changelings won the battle for Canterlot and proceeded to use the surplus love from their cocooned livestock to quickly spread throughout the land. Our hero Skeletor will then arrive in the Frozen Wastes upon the awakening of the Crystal Empire. Without a princess to protect them, Skeletor will fight to protect them from the dark umbral Sombra and claim a city of his own. This will be his staging grounds to take this realm back from Chrysalis.

And it shall be known as The Rise of Skeletor: The Dark King of Equis!

Now I just gotta watch He-man... All 130 episodes of it. Plus the specials. And maybe She-ra.

This will probably be painful...
