I do not think of myself as a creative person. While I'm sure quite a few people/ponies would disagree with me, I honestly just never saw myself as the type of individual that could actually sit down and write up a story. Granted, I do have an excellent grasp on the English language in terms of grammar, punctuation, and the ability to catch nasty little errors and correct my own work I just could never find the will nor self esteem to actually try my hand at writing a story.
I'm not sure if it was just the lateness getting to me, or something more but all of a sudden I feel like taking my shot at actually writing something of my own. Nothing big mind you, just a short story starring our favorite 6 mares. Granted the idea is still nothing more than a baby of an idea, but if I can just work up a little bit more nerve I just might actually make something.
I honestly never thought I'd say this, but confound these ponies, they drive me to write!

I like what little I know about your story idea. If you want someone to bounce ideas off of to help jump-start the process, you can send me a PM any time. I love writing and helping others write as well. And, having been an English major in middle school, high school, and college, I should be able to weed out any niggly little grammar issues once you have a rough draft.
Of course, in return I'll probably talk about my silly story ideas
I actually have six or seven (lost count) stories in the works, but don't feel that any of them are ready for publication yet.
