After watching "Flutter Bruther."

Wow. So this is the most adult episode from MLP. Finding a vocation is a hard thing to do, especially with a crippling fear of failure.

Seeing the dynamic between Fluttershy and Zephyr Breeze was a delight to watch, especially seeing 'Shy so... peeved. Her being stern towards him shows just how much she's grown as a character, and her encouraging of her brother was certainly the highlight of this episode's moral.

Still, one question that nobody has ever bothered to answer in the show is just WHAT does Fluttershy do? She isn't a vet, since there's a separate veterinary clinic in ponyville. She doesn't run an animal day-care either, or else she'd be taking care of many ponies pets, not just her animal friends.

So DHX, what does Fluttershy do?

She trains animals, more or less. Like teaching birds to sing for events and other stuff. How do you think Trixie got her hands on a Manticore?
