One Year Anniversary

Last year this day, Defect was published. Man, it feels like an eternity ago.
Defect was my first featured story, and I'm so lucky to have experienced that. I still remember the joy and exuberance I felt when I saw that it made to the feature box... after a whole nine hours of being unnoticed after the story was first published!

I'm not Dead! And neither is the story!

Hey guys, sorry about the complete lack of updates for Defect. Recently, I'm dealing with some rather time-consuming tasks (Read: Moving to Sydney) so I didn't have a lot of time to spend on pony-related goodness. Unfortunately, it will likely be at least a few more weeks before everything can settle down. In the meantime, though, I am still working on the next chapter, so all hope is not lost.

Friendly Update Inbound!

Sorry about the... what, four weeks wait? Yeah. Unfortunately my writing speed is not the more optimal. School has also been strangling me a little bit but that's for another time. To be honest, the chapter took me about two weeks since the first week was mostly spent majorly editing proofreading chapter 1 with my editors (who are all doing a stellar job so far). Wow. My first featured story. To make things better, it didn't stay on there for a few minutes, or even a few hours. No, it stayed on there for four days! Words cannot explain my gratitude to you guys for making it my (by far) most successful story to date. It was originally intended as a bling for my own amusement, and I really only published out of pure curiosity of its reception.

Hey guys, sorry about the complete lack of updates for Defect. Recently, I'm dealing with some rather time-consuming tasks (Read: Moving to Sydney) so I didn't have a lot of time to spend on pony-related goodness. Unfortunately, it will likely be at least a few more weeks before everything can settle down. In the meantime, though, I am still working on the next chapter, so all hope is not lost. After this ordeal, I will definitely try to improve on my writing speed to make room for faster updates. Right now, though, all I can do is thank you all for your patience with me.
