Summary
This story is a crossover between the MLP series and the game Zombie Army Trilogy, a game made by the same developers of the Sniper Elite series.
A quick summary of the game (for those who don’t know) is about Hitler creating the zombie apocalypse with an ancient relic when he was about to lose the war, creating an army of demonic Undead. Watch the gameplay on youtube for further details of the story.
For this story idea, it follows my OC, Hedrick Richter, A Reichsmarschall (the highest ranking general during WW2 in Nazi Germany) and oldest friend of Adolf Hitler himself, knowing the man since childhood and followed him through WW1 and WW2.
As the Reichmarschall, Hedrick oversees all aspects of the German military and all their doings, following Hitler loyally like any good friend will do and believes that with Hitler their country will get better. However, as the war goes on, Hedrick slowly questions many of Hitler's motives such as the mass killing of Jews and any and all prisoners and eventually confronts Hitler about his plans to “make Germany great again.”
It only takes a turn for the worst as the Allies start to gain ground after Normandy. Hitler becomes more and more stressed thus making many more inhumane decisions, something Hedrick constantly confronts with him about. Eventually, after the liberation of France, Hitler gathers his top military personnel and discusses his final plan for victory, Plan Z.
This was the final straw for Hedrick as he openly refuses to support this plan and openly calls Hitler a monster for trying to turn their country into an undead hellhole.
Hitler, furious of his friend’s betrayal, declares Hedrick a traitor and sent him to the underground solitary confinement located underneath the capital building.
While Hedrick was wasting away, Plan Z was eventually enacted. Hedrick was safe due to his cell, but he was eventually visited by Hitler, who was turned into a powerful demonic undead, who is now leading the entire undead Nazi army.
Hedrick was then taken by Hitler and turned into a powerful Undead General. Like Hitler, Hedrick was given numerous demonic powers, boasting his already powerful undead body. Not only that but like the other Undead General, he can summon entire armies of Undead soldiers on a whim, even specialized zombies that were given specifically to him to bolster his armies.
However, in the process, he’s completely subservient to Hitler like many of the other undead slaves.
With Hedrick by his side, Hitler pressed forth his Zombie Army to the rest of the world, however, the Survivor Brigade (the main characters of the game) managed to collect all the Sagarmatha Relics and freed Hedrick from Hitler’s control. Horrified at what he has become, Hedrick swore that he would see Hitler die by his hands and thus helped the Survivor Brigade on their mission to kill Hitler.
When both the Brigade and Hedrick defeated Hitler at Hellmouth (watch the final boss battle of the game), Hedrick tackled Hitler into the hole that leads straight to hell.
With his Hitler dead, Hedrick accepted his fate to an eternity in hell, his soul damned by the man he used to call friend.
However, this was not the case as Hedrick soon woke up in Equestria, still an undead and still obtain all of his abilities.
He soon sets out into Equestria, with a million souls bound to him, trying to seek a purpose for this second chance.
This Story has been on my mind for awhile now and it was something I REALLY wanted to write. I loved the game as it brings a whole new aspect of Nazi Zombies as you and your team face entire armies of undead. I wanted to do a story where a powerful Undead General who can summon entire armies of Undead wander around Equestria trying to find a purpose for his continued existence.
Powers
Hedrick is my Undead OC as he has many but not overly complicated powers.
1. As an undead, Hedrick is stronger than any mortal man, easily surpassing any in a contest of strength. As with being undead, he doesn’t feel pain, able to regenerate through demonic magic coursing through his body, no hunger, cannot be tried, Etc.
2. He has telekinetic abilities. A.K.A: telepathic communication and telekinesis. I will say this now: He will not have mind control or mind-reading powers, I have something different for the latter.
3. Control over hell-fire. Able to create and shoot fire from the depths of hell. Also able to heat up his hands to high levels of heat (like a branding iron).
4. Soul-vision. Able to detect and see the souls of the living. This is how I feel the undead manages to hunt down and attack any living creature, they can sense their souls to a certain degree. In Hedrick’s case, he can not only see souls but can tell what emotion the person is going through or detect any sinister motives through their soul.
5. Demonic teleportation. can teleport any distance by seeing the destination (short distance) or a demonic rune is already in place (Long distance).
6. Last but not least, Undead summoning. His main power, able to summon any number of Undead soldiers from the millions of souls bound to his own as long as he has the energy to do so, I’m talking about all the zombie types from the game and much more that I have come up with.
Character of Hedrick
Overall Hedrick will be a very powerful Undead General with powers fitting his occupation, however, keep in mind that Hedrick is horrified at what he has become and thus roams the lands of Equestria without purpose. He can’t simply kill himself, he knows that if he does, then the millions of souls of loyal soldiers bound to him will suffer an eternity in hell, he’s a good commander and will not see that happen.
Due to his occupation as a General, he is a brilliant tactician that won many battles during the early stages of the war. But later on in the war, Hitler deliberately ignored his strategies and thus took matters into his own hands, losing on all fronts.
The Main Plot
I’m planning to make this story a Fall of Equestria story with Anthro ponies, BUT BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN THIS STORY WILL NOT BE LIKE THE OTHER STORIES YOU MAY HAVE READ AS IT WILL TAKE PLACE BEFORE THE FALL.
The Fall of Equestria didn’t happen yet. Hedrick finds himself in the far outskirts of the Crystal Empire (he doesn’t know this, he thinks he’s in Russia due to all the snow). So trying to find any possible answers, Hedrick trudges through the snow for many hours, contemplating on his continued existence as an abomination.
Eventually, he hears in the distance a crying baby, both concerned and curious he follows the source of the crying and finds a group of Caribou who are currently escaping the Crystal Empire with a precious package in their possession.
The group of Caribou then tries to kill Hedrick to get rid of witnesses. Hedrick, in turn, kills all of the Caribou with a mix of demonic magic, undead strength, and summoned undead.
When last of the Caribou are killed, Hedrick finds something he was never expecting, a baby winged Unicorn (Aka: Princess Flurryheart).
With the baby now in his care, he sets off to find the parents of the baby, finding a new purpose. What he doesn’t know that he involved himself in an eventual war and will hold the fate of Equestria in his hands.
