    Mild Rambling

Life is a weird thing if we think about it too much. Isn't it funny how we wander around this world for years, simply finding ways to entertain ourselves or simply find a way to live a reasonable life until our inevitable end comes? We get a mild tutorial about how to properly live, then we're left to our own devices.

    National Coming Out Day

Right off the bat I'm going to apologize for the mini novel I'm about to post.

It's so difficult to talk about it while remaining spoiler-free...

This film was masterfully built on the decade of films leading up to it, and more generally on the century of cinema leading up to it. As an isolated, stand-alone film, Infinity War would be lacking; because it isn't a stand-alone film, it's the capstone on the MCU. The audience have been trained, through experience after experience, to expect that the plots of these films will play out in a certain way. Infinity War takes those expectations and tropes, and it turns them around.

You don't have to have seen all the MCU films leading up to it, though the more the better just so you know in advance who everybody is and how they relate.
