Yup. I was born in 2004, so, this was amongst the other things I watched when I was younger when it was still on TV on the Hub. If interested, I can give you the list of what I watched when it was still on.
Omg my childhood! (Since my parents wouldn't let me watch SpongeBob, so I had to watch these bad boys for Saturday morning cartoons. I think I was the coolest girl ever. XD)

You have to give the people behind Transformers props for their creativity, even the intermission screens were fun to watch.
Before my folks got cable TV, I watched this and the original power rangers every saturday since these two shows, plus some disney series&movies were the only shows a kid could enjoy in the 90s.

Yeah, even if some of the episodes were of questionable quality -which to be fair it was a limitation of eighties writing- everyone was putting their heart and soul into making these robots feel... real. Even when it came to commercial bumpers.
