For anyone noticing me not around quite as much...

I'm still here, but I'm dividing my forum time a bit between here and the TARDIS Guide website, since these days, I'm one of the moderators over on the forums there. The website is one where you can keep track of what Doctor Who related episodes you have and haven't watched (as well as audio/comics/etc), review Doctor Who related stuff, and, of course,

    I'm still here

At home, have not been out today, and no plans of going out.

Just feel it's worth mentioning since I'm seeing things on the news about a shooting being filmed in an area in pretty easy walking distance of me...

...which computer of mine is down again?

Yeah, I thought getting it working was too easy. It froze again, got it working again, and now it's back to not starting up again, only this time with just the motherboard and power supply, so I'm assuming it is the motherboard or cpu. I'll probably have to get a new one.

I did remember that I've not a not-perfectly good gaming laptop around I can substitute for it, though. It was a cheap gaming laptop that I found out how cheap it was after buying it. The computer works fine, but the part of the case the display is in is all busted where it can't close or really move very well, and the keyboard is pretty sucky.

What I've done is stuck it behind the monitor for the downed computer, hooked up the monitor, keyboard, and mouse to that, and I'm letting it pretend to be a desktop until I get the motherboard straightened out. It's not as good of a gaming computer, but for a laptop, it's still pretty good at gaming, as I recall. The gpu and actual computer was good, but everything else sucked.

And again, I have other computers, just being down a gaming/art computer is irritating, and my internet provider's been all cappy on data recently. Pretty sure I can get by with this for a bit, though.
