Sidestories?

So. I was thinking the other day.

I have a bunch of mini scene ideas for the Mistress of the Everfree universe, but most of them can’t fit into the main story. I can fit in flashbacks and all that, but, well, some of these ‘ideas’ are just pointless fluff. That, or something to help world build but, again, it would just be awkward in the main story.

I propose a new ‘sidestory’ - an anthology of one-shots showcasing scenes left out from Mistress of the Everfree.

Most will probably be set before the events there, with scenes offering a more in depth view into smaller characters such as Silvanus, (Who’s kinda been left out, not gonna lie), interactions between Twilight and the Everfree at the start of her reign, and even explanations like how Cadence came to be Celestia’s niece.

This, if I decide to try it out, will be a story with no real upload schedule, by the way. I’d post something if I get an idea or two, but would otherwise leave it be. It won’t be something that will come out right away, I think I’ll wait for a few more MEF chapters to come out, then give it a go, but I want to know first if people will actually want to read that kinda thing?

That could be cool. I'd like to know what the relationship between Twilight and Celestia and Luna was like before the events of Nightmare Moon. If she was involved in the original struggles against Discord and Tirek. What her relationship with the Pillars were like. If she had any romantic interests. If Twilight Velvet is a distant cousin or a descendant.
