It's Been a While

Hello there. Long time, no see, huh?

Well, I know not many read these things, but I figured it'd be a good idea to drop in and talk a little about what I've been doing.

So, first things first, Britfic will be making a return sometime in the next two weeks. Unbeknownst to you guys, writing a story in which the main point was to have a dude speak in a ridiculous manner to literally everypony he meets is incredibly challenging. There have been at least several times in which I honestly thought I was having a stroke trying to write his accent. Some of you may think I should tone it down, but I think half of the fun of the story was just seeing how ridiculous I can make Anon sound while still being partially understood by most readers. That, and the reactions. Oh lord, the reactions!

Anyway, yeah. Britfic is coming back. Sorry it took so long, but it was really tough to find ideas for this one.

In other news, I am writing another, more serious story. Now, I know many of you will look at the many incomplete or cancelled stories I have on here and say, "Gee, Watcher, maybe finish your older stuff first."

And to that, I say, "Nah, bruv, I'm good."

In all seriousness, this new story is kind of special to me in that it feels like the first one that I can clearly see a major progression to the plot. Beginning, middle, and end have been rooting around in my head for a while, so now I just need to find the best way to put it into something that will be enjoyable to read. I already have rough drafts of a prologue and the first chapter waiting to be revised by me (and anypony who'd like to help me for god's sake I need it I don't write).

I don't know when those will be released, though. I'm still trying to decide if I should write the whole thing, revise it, and then release it all at once. Or maybe I should release it once a week or something. Or maybe just release the chapters as they are written. . . Honestly, I'm too scatterbrained to decide that so maybe you fine people would like to help me decide that. I think that, no matter what, you'll enjoy it if you like a little darker, sadder stories to supplement ridiculous constables in Ponyville.

So. . . yeah, that's everything. Not a lot, I know, but I hope you guys aren't totally done with me yet. I look forward to writing and releasing some stuff at some point.
