First Year of College DONE · 1:19pm Apr 24th, 2022
Howdy y’all!
Here to do a life update for anyone who may care. This, of course, will include updates on FimFic related stuff.
So, biggest thing, I’ve completed my first year of college! It went by so quick. There were lots of sleepless nights (LOTS), many dead of night Tim Horton’s runs (at least a couple times a week) and lots and lots of stressing. I’m pretty sure I passed all my courses, which is good. I was actually really delighted to learn that one of my teachers this past semester actually worked on FiM and EQG. What a time to study animation, huh?
Anyway, now that that’s done, I have four months of no school, which means more free time. That’s where things get interesting. I’ll have more time to write, and trust me, I have plenty of things in the works. I have three things that I really want to get done this summer: one of which is another Transverse story focusing on Twilight for once, a sequel to Shards of Incongruence featuring more Sunset x Sunset and some light-hearted moments but also some not so light-hearted moments, and finally the AppleDash longfic I’ve been working on for a year. I also have some other projects in the works but I am not sure if they’re worth mentioning right now. Oh, and of course, on my other account, Letting Go Of The Reins is a priority.
I also will be making more art probably, and since I have time I’ll be opening art commissions as well. More info on that to come. I’m involved in a few projects, and I think I’m at liberty to mention that I’m once again on the Friendship Is Tragic art team (a lovely audio drama by Scribbler) for the sequel to the first one. Check out the first one here, it’s really awesome! I also did some sketches and stuff for the second episode of Reign Of The Sun (check out episode one here), so look out for that too. I’ll hopefully stay on the team in the future, but regardless y’all should check out both of those projects :) Lots of talented people work on em, so show them your love.
As far as my personal life goes, I’m doing my usual summer sports thing, and I have loads of things planned this summer with my friends! Concerts, outings, and other fun things. I have also applied to an internship at an animation studio, but we’ll see how that goes. Either way, I’ll have some of my free time taken up by a job, but that don’t mean I can’t make art and write.

It was alright. Everything was online because of covid, though I did stay in dorms and hanging out with classmates was pretty cool. I can’t wait for September, we’ll finally be in person! It’ll be a lot more fun i hope. Good luck with your bachelors!
