It had been about a month since the changeling incident in Canterlot. Everypony is on edge, because stray changelings keep popping up here and there, trying to blend in with the population. Everyone worries that one of their closest friends, or even their family, could not be who they appear to be. But what happens when a pony isn't really that pony...

...but they're not a changeling, either?

Night and day. Fire and ice. Creation and destruction. Everything has an opposite, and Chaos is no exception. Princess Celestia tells Twilight the true history of Discord's rise, the Alicorns' fall, and the creation of the Elements of Harmony.

She tells her student the story of Order and Chaos.

I'll make it, I keep telling myself. It'll all be good soon, with my new found friends and sunny life on the horizon. But then I have to ask, why did I just say I don't want to be good if If what I'm thinking is true? Are these lies really better than the truth?

After a week traveling through the Everfree Forest without sun, Twilight Sparkle and company have arrived at Castle Everfree, ready to face Nightmare Moon.

They are not prepared.

A Story within the Sparkyverse canon, but prior knowledge is not necessary (And in fact, hard to find, as I haven't been writing as much as I could have been.) Originally written as one full document, I broke it all up into smaller chunks, as otherwise the pacing gets a bit funny.

Death. All that remains on this planet are the martyrs who gave their lives to ensure the others could escape. Humanity’s greatest has fallen. 23 Billion humans died in the war, and only more would follow. The few strays on Reach were quickly found and slaughtered. The last soldier died fighting, a fitting tribute to the planet humanity fought so hard to protect. Still, the story is not over for mankind, just as the story is not over for this lone soldier. This, is the story of Noble Six.

Over a century has passed since ponies fled Equestria for the safety of the moon to protect themselves from new monsters that sprung from the earth to devour ponykind. So, four days ago, Tirek brought Equestria to its knees—with my help—only to turn on me—which I really should have seen coming, but that's hindsight for you. And then some stuff happened involving—of course—rainbows, ugh, and now I'm here.
