Twilight's coronation was just recently, and nothing has gone wrong since. But alas, it could not last. King Sombra returns, and this time Equestria will not be rid of him so easily. Twilight finds herself in the caves beneath Canterlot, where she will learn secrets that are best left undiscovered.

Twilight Sparkle, the famed Alicorn Princess, after 3 years, grows tired and restless one fateful night. Going out for a late-night flight, she found plenty more than what she asked for, finding a home to stay at for good.

It's over. She's been with Celestia for years. She's absolved Luna of her crimes. She's been instrumental in defeating Sombra, and has revealed a Changeling invasion. She's even helped in reforming Discord. And now, her time is over. In the time that she's had, she's tried to do her best. She's tried so hard to live up to what other ponies expect of her.

And they were happy with how she was shaping up.

They wanted her to succeed.

Now all they want is to see her dead.

This story is a sequel to Blood Moon

It's been two and a half years since the battle between Celestia and Luna took place. So bloody and fierce, but never written into Equestria's history. Twilight however, saw something amazing in that clash of these celestial titans:

A whole new sky had been created from the destruction.

Twilight, so entranced by it, recreated it, only making a few changes to it. She shared it with the citizens, who fell in love with Twilight's newest and greatest form of magic and art. Celestia however, disapproves of this creation, and in doing so, has begun the birth of one of Equestria's greatest enemies that it will ever know.

The newest story of mine, and a bit of a special in the spirit of Halloween. The premise behind it being; what if the Dark Magic Twilight used at the beginning of Season 3 had side effects, side effects that have not had any noticeable effect on her until recently? What if King Sombra, a powerful Dark Magic user, wasn't entirely defeated by Twilight and Company? What will become of Twilight and her friends? I won't spoil it, but I'll tell you it likely won't be a happy ending for anyone involved.

Love is the most sacred of magics, possessed by all but commanded by few. It is the driving force behind life in Equestria, the lifeblood of pony civilization.

But when a new kind of magic arrives in Equestria, it is up to its bearer, Twilight Sparkle, to decide its fate...
or perhaps it's up to the magic to decide hers.

After having a horrible nightmare, Twilight Sparkle fears that Nightmare Moon will return. This time she won't be with Princess Luna, no she will be with Twilight. To stop from her friends and family, and all of Equestria for that matter, from getting hurt Twilight must do something she has never done before. With Luna and Discord being the only ones that know what is going to happen, they help the newest princcess as much as their powers allow the. But can anypony stop pure evil when it has it sight set on an entire country?

Would you rather die, or become a slave to darkness?

Her experiment goes wrong however and she accidentally pulls another pony's soul into herself. Who is Midnight Star? Twilight thinks she knows, but the mysterious Midnight has her secrets. Secrets that could cost Twilight and all of Equestria the peace and harmony the nation has known for millennia.
