It's your typical day in Ponyville. A monster attack. Epic battle with costumed superheroes. Senseless property damage. Not really something for Trixie, the leader of said heroes, to really concern herself with. What does concern her is this strange new unicorn named Twilight Sparkle that has come to town. She's asking nosy questions and trying to learn everything she can about the town's local heroes the Galaxy Rangers. Trixie just knows that this pony is up to no good and can tell she has sinister motives. Trixie is determined to protect her friends and stop whatever this pony is planning.

Unbeknownst to Trixie, Corona, the Tyrant Sun, is plotting a new scheme to defeat the Galaxy Rangers once and for all. One that will leave the Galaxy Rangers broken. A new breed of monsters with the magic and intellect of a pony and with power that dwarfs even the Tyrant Sun herself.

This is a sorta sequel to Longest Night, Longest Day by RainbowDoubleDash. Not required reading, but check it out if you are interested. There are a few key differences from LNLD and the normal Lunaverse and they will be explained in story.

A Lunaverse Fic

Ever since she first rose the sun Celestia has meditated, and reflected upon herself. This act has given her balance and helped her center herself not only for the day ahead, but for her spirit. But ever since her sister gave her control over the sun once more, as well as the insights given by the newest Element Bearers. She's been feeling off.

Today is the day though when she takes up her old ritual, and contemplates as well as reflects on the past. Seeking solace to what ails her, and hopefully strengthen her insight to her actions. Today, is the day she regains the balance her sister's betrayal has stripped her of.

This fic is experimental for me. Hopefully I pulled it off. It's entirely in Corona's PoV and is well, to put it lightly to heavily insane. But in a way humanizes [ponyizes?] her, sort of like how the Mane 6 saw her near the end of Return to Tambelon.

Fluttershy realizes her feelings for Trixie might go beyond mere friendship. Could it be...love? She agonizes about how to reveal her feelings only to be drawn into a Night Court plot against Trixie. A plot to destroy Trixie once and for all.

For those not familliar with the Lunaverse, Corona = Celestia's form as Nightmare Moon. Ditzy Doo is the element of Kindness, not Fluttershy and Trixie is Luna's student in place of Twilight.

Dinky is unhappy with her life. It seems every week somepony or something kidnaps her. It's embarrassing! Worse, everypony is treating her like a little foal that needs protecting and her mom is even more overprotective than usual. Dinky is sick of this and demands a change. She refuses to be known as a filly that constantly needing protecting. But how? Her luck changes when she learns a shocking secret about Bon-Bon that will change her life forever. The mild-mannered candy maker is really a secret agent! Dinky feels she must become one too! It would stop all the kidnappings for sure! Elsewhere in Ponyville, a sinister presence is gathering in Ponyville and only Dinky and her new mentor might be able to stop it.

Trixie has successfully accomplished her mission, and the crimes of the corrupt nobles in Equestrian's government have been laid bare for all to see. Princess Luna has castigated the nobles and put an end to their depravities, and Trixie wants nothing more than to return home and begin the victory celebrations. It has been a month since Corvus attacked Ponyville. So far the Tyrant Sun Corona has been silent giving the town some peace and quiet for once. Not that it gives Trixie and the other Galaxy Rangers any peace with the press and fans constantly bothering them ever since their secret identities got revealed.

Even worse is that members of the Night Court have started making moves against the Rangers. Archduke Fisher, Viceroy Night Light, and Duke Greengrass are determined to bring them down and replace them with new Rangers they have created, the Planet Rangers. The Rangers are framed for crimes they didn't commit and now are on the run from the police. Cornered on every side, the Rangers find help from an unexpected source.
