Spike awakens within the Realm of Ninjago after being sucked into the Crystal Mirror after it's been behaving strangely, as a result after he and the Mane 6 investigate it, he is sucked into the Mirror upon hearing a strange voice, and the Mirror is broken which prevents him from coming back in any known way.

Spike awakens on the doorsteps of an old Monastery and is found by a man named Master Wu, who takes him in and lets him join a team of Ninja who all have cool Elemental powers, despite not having any powers.. yet, he's trained as a ninja to unlock his own potential and find his calling. And now Spike's life is being a part of a team who can be a new family with him, and hopefully he can find a way home one day..

About two weeks after getting home from their last Unity Quest, the ponies wonder if it’s possible that the Unity Crystals could send them to other places, further into the future, and if the next star shard is somewhere in the future as well. It's another grand adventure through the cosmos of film, as the Main 6 and Spike are once again needed to help somecreature in need. They shall meet Tom Cat and Jerry Mouse, two natural enemies that never seem to quit butting heads. However, this seemingly cartoonish journey takes a dark turn when they meet Robyn Starling, an orphan forced to live with her greedy, wicked guardian; Aunt Fig. 50 years of feuding will be put aside as Tom and Jerry along with the Main 6 and Spike all must team up to rescue Robyn and reunite her with her long, lost father.

For the past week, Sonata made a lot more mistakes and been acting more weird than usual when she was trying to help out her friends, the Rainbooms. The gang were very concern for her behavior, until Sunset discovered that Sonata didn't know how to read. To make matters worse, Trixie also found out about Sonata's secret and revealed it to the whole school.

Tried of being mocked by Trixie and the peers from school, she confronted Trixie that she's not dumb for being illiterate and demanded an apology. Trixie decided to make a bet that if Sonata learned how to read by the end of the month, not only Trixie will have to apologize in front of the whole school, but also have to treat Sonata tacos for lunch for the entire month.

Without a second thought, Sonata agreed. But even with the help of her friends, will Sonata be able to learn how to read?

I've seen this idea done before, but as a fan of Sonic and MLP: FiM, I wanted to give it a go myself.

This, basically, is the story of Sonic Generations, but crossed over with the MLP:FiM universe, with Spike and the Main Six taking the place of Classic Sonic and Classic Tails with other MLP characters also appearing (most aren't listed to prevent spoilers). Except for Green Hill, there will be different areas explored, as well as pony rivals and different era bosses. So while it will have its similarities to the console and 3DS versions of the actual game, it will definitely have its differences too.

Also, in case anyone was wondering, there will NOT be any shipping in this story. At the very least, no crossover shippings. No SonicxRD, TailsxTwilight, TailsxFluttershy, or anything like that. If there is any shipping at all, it will only be between characters from the same universe. And the only humans in this story are Dr. Eggman and the ones that appear in the "Sonic Unleashed" level.
