This story is a sequel to Sunset's Other Bits.

Having seen a side of Sunset she rarely reveals has caused new feelings for her to drive Rarity's mind into chaos. She seeks the help of some of her other friends at school to better understand them and tries to figure out what to do with them.

Note: a Sunsarity fic. This will mostly be tame, but I will tag as Teen just in case due to some of the topics that might come up.

Sunset and Unicorn Rarity hit it off during a Hearth's Warming party and Rarity asks for them to meet up again for a tour of the human world's Canterlot. She calls it a date, but she probably just means that in a friendly way... right?

The first time it happened, Sunset didn’t pay it any mind due to the circumstances. The second time it happened, she noticed it and brushed it off as the action of a concerned friend. The third time it happened, she finally figured out that Rarity was flirting with her.

Sunset's friends ask her for help with a lot of things. Pretending to be Rarity's boyfriend at her cousin's wedding is a new one. It can't be that hard, right? A sharp suit, some expertly applied makeup, and a good backstory and she'll be charming the pants off of the bridesmaids in no time.

But just what is Rarity hoping to get out of this subterfuge in the first place?

Sunset and Rarity's relationship was always thought to have been strictly platonic. Rarity started to have conflicting feelings about Sunset since just after the Battle of the Bands when the equine turned human had saved the world from the Dazzlings.
She had found herself admiring Sunset's beauty from afar on multiple occasions and chalking it up to getting inspiration from her friends, but she never wanted to admit that she may have caught feelings for the beautiful girl.

When Sunset gets badly injured by Gilda, Rarity slowly starts to realize that she does indeed have feelings for Sunset.

All characters who are implied to have had fun adult time are 18 or older.

In Equestria, the only season ponies can experience until they meet their soul mate is winter. When Sunset crossed over to the human world, she met her soul mate, and was able to experience the other seasons. The problem is, she isn't in Equestria anymore, and her soul mate is human.

And Sunset doesn't want to force that onto Rarity when to humans, the term soul mate applies to something that isn't real.
