Months before the Last Day, the inhabitants of Stables 29 and 101 were sealed inside their Stables as part of a "trial run." Vinyl Scratch and Octavia Philarmonica were two such souls, bound by love but separated by fate. Even across the distance dividing them, though, they sent messages to each other.

Until, one fateful day several months after the immense door of Stable 29 closed, everything went wrong.

It’s been four years since the Lightbringer walked the Wasteland, shaking the world to its very core. Now however, the forces of change have begun to stagnate. With the fall of the Enclave and Red Eye and division of the Steel Rangers, numerous factions have risen to take their places. Fighting to gain freed power and resources reaches from the streets of Fillydelphia and Manehattan, to the southern borders of the fledgling New Canterlot Republic, and even north into what remains of the Crystal Empire.

A chapter of Steel Rangers, turned on by their own kind and forsaken by Wastelanders, travel north into the icy wastes, following intelligence of a preserved Stable buried beneath the abandoned crystal city of Amor. However, the ponies of Stable 13 aren’t the shrinking violets usually found in the great underground shelters.

For forty years, parties of Stable 13’s dwellers have traveled the Wasteland, moving among the shadows as average merchants, mercenaries, and raiders. Keeping their true nature and origin secret as they gathered materials and equipment to keep their home intact. The Rangers would not be able to simply waltz into their abode without paying a steep price in blood.

In the end, few survive the battle and those that do are left to the frozen wastes to be hunted by a sadistic mercenary named Wintermail. She searches for information once thought long lost, held by a mare believed to be long dead. Now, a shadow of Old Equestria and a young star of the future must fight for survival and struggle to find a place in a world falling into the grips of chaos.

Will the wheels of change bring about a great new era or grind the Wasteland into oblivion?

This story follows an earth pony plumber or "mechanic" fresh out of Stable 45 named Speak Easy,
or 'Spaz' if you want to annoy him.
He's attempting to make a living in the harsh reality that is the Wasteland.
A virgin of the waste, if you will.
No wait, that's not very good terminology...

Speak Easy doesn't have much of a goal other than you know,
not die.
Even though he has less survival skills then a legless sheep trying to fight against a pack of wolves...

But hey, if a Pipbuck technician can do it...

Follow him through his "journey" as he attempts to make a living doing Odd Jobs with some griffin who keeps on changing her name that he befriended out of pure chance, meeting strangers and making friends (that sometimes want to kill him) as he discovers the wasteland and the many living, usually deadly creatures that inhabit it.

The setting of this story will mainly take place in The Long Walk, where trade rules;
and where there's money, there's bandits, raiders, and poverty.
Keep in mind to stay close to the road, because there are things roaming the plains that are much scarier than a group of bloodthirsty raiders.

This is a fan story based off of Kkat's Fallout:Equestria, so if you haven't read that yet, please do that now.
I don't really know how much this story relates to or follows the lore of FoE or the other amazing side-stories like Project Horizons, Pink Eyes, Heros, Murky Number Seven, etc.
but it should still pan out well hopefully and be a fun read

blah blah blah

Changelings.

To most, they are the creatures that almost took Canterlot, shapeshifters able to feed on the emotions of those around them.
While this is true, it is not all there is to the story.

When the Great War began, an alliance was struck between Princesses Celestia and Luna, of Equestria, and Queen Chrysalis, of the Changelings.
The changelings, natural infiltrators since birth, would become spies for Equestria. In return, they would no longer be hunted, permitted to continue feeding as they had for countless years before their failed invasion, provided they not engage in acts harmful to the equine government or population at large.

Of course, that was simply the beginning. As the war began to escalate, Stable-Tec, the company responsible for the life-saving Stables, recieved a request from parties that would, as part of the contract, remain anonymous and unnamed.
They were asked to create something new, something that would allow both changelings and ponies to survive, and promote harmony between the races.

They were asked to create...

Project HIVE

Campfire is a caravan leader but his merchandise isn't tangible. He tells stories to scare people. But it's Nightmare Night his biggest night to make some caps and the nearest town is too far away. It start's to rain and him and his team need to hide out in an Asylum supposedly the one the per-war psycho six-six-four-four-two stayed in. But are his demons still in the halls?

I would like to thank doomande for pre-reading it and helping the pacing and Silvertie for helping me with some other minor mistakes. Happy Nightmare Night.

Feel free to mention the characters in this story just give me the credit for their creation and if it's based after this night or during mention that it's non-canonical because I'll be back next year to tie up loose ends. Stay tuned.

This is a collection of short stories, all of them FoE related, but most representing failures on my part to pull off a decent plot. I do not have any plans for the pieces here; I present them only for those few interested.

Also, a warning. Strangely, I have no interest in editing my own work, despite editing so many others. These are most unedited, representing unfinished work.
