129. Control.

There exist ponies that think that emotions are a way to ruin. They seclude themselves in cloisters high up in the mountains and practice mastery over their emotions. I have to admit I was quite surprised when I heard that I am supposedly their shining example.

I think that, if they ever met with me personally, away from being a princess, they’d call me a heretic. It’s true that I rarely express how I really feel about any given situation, but then, when throwing a hissy fit could cause a solar flare or other major disasters that’s kind of needed.

Hmm, I see her as having emotions, but over thousands of years and the loss of her sister and ruling ponies though harsh times, she's learned to keep a smile on her face and be a ruler her ponies can trust. I'm sure she DOES have emotions, but she has control over them so she can be the best ruler, one who stays calm through any situation, who does what is needed, and who can protect her subjects. Luna is the one who is more approachable and relatable to the ponies.
