Griffons have taken over Equestria, ousting both princesses by the use of power found in feasting upon Dragons.The power had turned them mad Equestria is plunged into chaos, there is no day and night. Corrupt ponies eventually join their ranks, while a small resistance tries to fight back. One pony named Starwood is plunged into the fray when he accidentally saves a pony from the grips of the griffons. One pony named Twilight Sparkle, and the baby dragon she's been trying to protect.

The core concept you have is pretty damn interesting I have to say: griffons and ponies drinking dragons blood to become dominant, almost a seperate species and taking over Equestria with an iron fist. Maybe this is just me, but I think you have tried to pack too much information into too short of a space. I would suggest expounding upon the characters a little more, give them some depth, devote a few more paragraphs to describing the broken world of Equestria, and I think you will have an absolute gem. But as it is, I find the characters hard to empathise with. All it needs is some fleshing out, and possible a proofreader (but there again I am something of a spelling/grammar nazi). Keep it up, I think this has a heck of a lot of potential!
