I'll be honest, I don't ship Twilestia. But this fic caught my eye, and I just had to follow it. I loved the first chapter, and can't wait to read more.

I mean it more in overall view. You have 17 stories, 5 completed and 4 from them is one-shots. If you continue like that, than you don't be able complete them all. My recommendation is to write one or two stories at once and start new when you complete it, or just write a one-shots. Anyway I like your stories.

I suppose the simplest way to handle the "walk through fire," part is that part isn't very specific. A low temperature alcohol fire set to only be a few inches high and thick is one option. I also note it only says "without the help of a spell," the tech level of Equestria is pretty consistently portrayed as mid 1930's to early 1940's a fireproof asbestos suit is well within the pony tech level and isn't magic.
How long before it dawns on Celestia that, according to the way things are described here, she has to undergo the three trials as well? She is, after all, marrying an alicorn princess.

Question: Why doesn't Celestia have to do the trials? Twilight is an alicorn princess that was asked for her hoof in marriage, which fits within the law, meaning Celestia would have to do these trials too.

And it might be a matter of personal taste, but the saying (at least over here) is 'numero uno' (as in the spanish for 'number one'), having 'number uno' just looked a little weird to me.

I don't remember that they official anounced their weding. So until they anounce it officialy they have lot of time to plan.
And we mustn't forget that in this case it was Celestia that asked Twilight to marry her. So it should be Celestia that must go through the trials not Twilight.
Another question is if the law works for two princesses or in case the princess is the one asking.
Swaping bodies? Realy? In the first chapter we saw Celestia changed like unicorn. So why not use simple illusion spell? And we mustn't forget that swaping bodies is nonsense. Both beings have different number of neurons in different position. It is impossible to swap memories between two brains without damaging or losing some information. And there is still the killing of original mind. They said that it is simple spell but the oposit is true. The caster must be able to copy billions of positions of neurons and than copy it to billions of neurons that doesn't have the same structure and number.
The only way it could work is to conect their brains to the other body without changing anything. The mind would be still in original body but would control the other body. So there woud be no swaping of minds only redirecting of control. For strong willed and magic mares like Celestia and Twilight it shouldn't be difficult to reconnect back to their body.
It even included the idea that it was possible to turn a pony into a manticore against their will, and that wasn't even among the worst spells.
That's nothing new for Twilight. She has good experience in turning ponies or animals into something against their will.
