Dyslexic Engineer & writer of poetry / short stories
While taking a short break at the sea side, two pony lovers write a poem for their unborn foal. I was aiming for a poem with the background written around it. A story in a story if you will? About everyday pony folk and their hopes for the future.

Thanks for the support. I need to crack on with a third one. I'm enjoying getting into writing. I started in easter 2015, so not a long career!
I'm messing with a grimdark at the moment as well. I think it might work? I think I need to get it out of my system, as it were?
And I just finished a 900 word short, with a pony going to the moon for UK ponycon. I don't know if it will be too big to use, but it was a giggle to write :)

This was really cute, and refreshingly different from a lot of ponyfic. One thing that I appreciated was that the characters felt particularly "horsey", with lots of specifically equine touches. An interesting way of sneaking in poetry, too -- the word count limit means it's tricky to manage on its own!
I see that there are more Pony Poets stories, so I'll be reading those in the future.

How it came to be;
As I sat on the bed at the B&B in Towyn I said to Cut Glass, "I've got a really good idea or a really stupid one? I'm going to write a story about writing a Poem!" By the end of the weeks holiday I had this one and most of "pony poets the wheel story" completed.

Pony Poets is so very different to my first three, "black day pony", "no corner to hide me" and the crazy work "Gary'sTrip". "No corner to hide me" is so introvert and personal I haven't published it. Then came "moon Pony" and "my little A I". Moon Pony is locked into a con-book submission and I eagerly await the finish date so I can have it voiced and on my channel !
Awww this was so sweet. I always love a good ship, but this seems more than just a petty romance. THese two ponies are meant for eachother. I loved the poem entwined within the sweet scenes. Very good, especially as a first story
