Shrink Laureate

“Trixie hates to interrupt a good monologue,” said Trixie, interrupting a good monologue, “but maybe we should continue it somewhere not on fire?”

Hell and silence, I can fight it, I can fight it

As a one shot, I find this incredibly interesting and well done. This is the kind of story that deserves an expansion.

I love this.

I agree this does need to be a bit more. It's a mystery on why this all happened. I have a theory but I would like some more facts.

This came out pretty good. Very good one-shot.

Thank you. I promise to write something more cheerful next.

I don't currently plan to expand or continue this story. Anything I added would just take away from it.

Ungh. I think this mystery is too difficult for me. The doctor might have gotten Heather Dew pregnant and she might have had it aborted. Something like that would be on her mind a lot, like when she was ignoring the doctor and she might've been distracted by those thoughts at work, which caused the wing injury. I'm thinking the filly was her niece, since she did mention having a big sister. As for why she was on top of the dam, I think she may have been trying to perform a trick for the filly? I dunno. She jumped off the dam, but couldn't fly cause her wing started acting up and hurting right there. I dunno if any of this is close to being right. I can't piece together a more concrete reason on why she'd be up on the dam in the first place.

Also looked up Heather Dew. Apparently it's a brand of scotch whisky. Dunno if that has anything to do with her death, but it does flow well from Twilight talking about liquor to Heather Dew being introduced.

Ha! It doesn't count as a spoiler for me to admit that this has nothing to do with whiskey. Or whisky.

I didn't actually intend this to be a convoluted mystery, so much as exploring the nature of death, to whit: once somebody has died, there are some secrets you will never know the answer to. This story was inspired by an actual funeral and other events in my life.

Though, since I wrote it, one particular mystery has actually been cleared up by a DNA test. Which kind of takes the sting out of that message.

Can you do a proper ending
It needs more text m8

I really liked this. Really weird to be reading this so late, but I think it was pretty good.

I don't get it. Nothing is explained at all. :(
PM me with dumbed down explanation if you could or if this story have some clue that I should find?

Hmm... very intriguing. Shame it doesn't go on for longer though and gives more information, the style is great.
