A couple houses away from Luna's home in Royal Street, was a house to a recently moved in family: the Sky family. Inside this new home, on the top floor, was a young lady named Midnight Sky, who had light yellow skin, brunette hair that went to her shoulders, amethyst purple eyes, and was currently wearing a white tank top with turquoise sweat pants. She was lying on her bed, writing in her personal diary covered with flower pictures and the words Midnight's Diary written in fancy cursive.
Dear diary,
Today's my 3rd day here at Canterlot, and tomorrow's gonna be my first day of school here. I'm so nervous, I hope we don't have another incident like last time. I hope it doesn't happen again, but I'm sure it won't. I have high hopes for tomorrow, I just hope I make a good first impression. I'll talk to you later on in the day. Bye! Midnight thought as she wrote down on the pages. She was closing up her diary when she heard her mother, Morning Sky, say with a British accent, "Midnight, breakfast is ready."
With a hint of a British accent, she said, "I'm coming Mother." She quickly told her mother as she made her way to the dining table. There were three plates ready with pancakes, sausage, and biscuits with a bowl of gravy on the stove. Wow, Mom really out did herself this morning. Maybe she wanted me to have a big breakfast today. She thought as she sat down next to her mother, a gorgeous lady with a darker shade of yellow skin from Midnight's, lime green eyes, and wearing a turquoise robe with matching slippers, and her father, Night Sky, a tall man with light orange skin, sapphire blue eyes, and wearing a black t-shirt, and red pajama pants.
"Good morning Midnight," Night Sky said, with an American accent, to his daughter with a smile on his face, "Were you finishing unpacking your room?"
"Almost. I was able to get most of my clothes in my closet, along with unpacking most of my books."
Morning giggled, "Oh Midnight. You and your books."
She blushed as she turned to her mother, "Mom, you know how I am. I love books."
Morning continued giggling, "Oh, I know sweetheart. I remember when you were 5 years old, and you were reading at least 3 books a day." She sighed, "Those were very happy memories."
Midnight continued to blush as she continued to eat her breakfast in silence. Once she was finished, she took her plate and put it in the sink. "So, what are the plans for today? Are there any more boxes we need to unpack?" Midnight asked as she walked to the living room and sat down on the couch.
Night was the first to respond, "All I can think of us to do is get the rest of the boxes unpacked, but some of them will be heavy. We may need some help from our neighbors."
Midnight looked uncertain, "Are you sure? I mean we got most of the boxes ourselves, I think we can do it."
Her father spoke, "Sorry, sweetheart, but I don't think we can do it on our own. We're all tired of lifting those heavy boxes. besides, this way we can get to know our neighbors a little better."
"I suppose." Midnight said with a slightly depressed look.
Her mom came up and gave Midnight a hug, "Hey. I know you don't like asking others for help, but no matter how strong you are, allies will always make you stronger."
"I know Mom," Midnight sighed, "but I just don't want the same thing to happen to us like in Fillydelphia."
Night went to her and pulled her in a loving hug, "I promise, Midnight, nothing like that will happen again. The people here are much more friendly, unlike those jerks at Fillydelphia."
Midnight returned the hug, "Thanks Dad. I'll wait till someone comes home from school to help me out."
"That's my girl." Night said as he finished his plate and went outside to read one of his books.

I wonder if my parents will let me go to a book store. Midnight thought as she read her book Game Of Thrones. I could really use some new books, maybe the complete Song of Ice and Fire series. I'll ask them later Midnight thought as she walked down her stairs and into the living room, where her parents were sitting down and watching TV. "Mom? Dad?"
Morning turns around and sees Midnight, "What is it, sweetie?"
"Do you think I could go to the book store and get me a few more books?"
Morning smiles, "Not tonight, but maybe tomorrow, OK? You still need to get ready for school tomorrow."
"I know Mom. I'll try and have everything ready. I just need to decide on what I'm going to wear."
"I'm sure you'll find something nice." Night added.
"I know, but I want to make a good first impression."
"And you'll do just fine, sweetheart, I promise." Morning told her daughter as she pulled her in a hug. "There's no need to get so worked up."
Midnight gladly returned the hug, "Thanks Mom. I just can't help but worry."
Morning started to rub her back to try and calm her down. "I know sweetie. You'll do just fine here at Canterlot High. Who knows, you may even find you a nice boyfriend, or girlfriend."
Midnight started blushing deeply, "Mom! I don't even want one yet! Though, a girlfriend would be nice."
Morning giggled, "You'll get one honey, I know it, but please try and find a boyfriend, OK? I know you like girls too but you know how people are."
"I know, Mom. I'll try, but I can't make any promises."
Morning smiles, "That's all I ask of you." She kisses her daughter on her forehead, "Now why don't you read that book you got recently. What was it again?"
"It's called Game of Thrones Mom, it's the first book in the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin."
Morning giggled as she watched Midnight walk towards her room, "I'm so happy we were able to get this house. This should be a good home for her."
Night came up to his wife and kissed her. "I couldn't agree more. I just hope the students at Canterlot High won't judge her, but I'm sure she'll be fine." He finished as he went back in the living room and turned on the TV as Midnight was in her room, reading her newest book.
Don't worry about when chapters come out. It's about the quality. (And I can relate, I'm still in school.)
On the other hoof/hand,
I see bad things happening in the future already...
For once, I actually agree with you! This is like having someone corner you in an alleyway while holding a knife at you sayin' "You're about to get mugged!" Naww, man! I'm about to get a haircut!
That was a pretty good prologue for Midnight man, very well done.
7258913 Thanks. I know it wasn't long, but I think it was enough.
7258907 Thanks. I hope the quality is good, I'm still fairly new to this. And, well maybe....but we'll see what happens.
7258920 Still I think it was pretty good man.
7258924 Thanks.
7258920 Yeah quality's good so far, keep up the good work.
I'm just in this to see if anyone's ass gets kicked.
7258929 Your welcome man.
7258941 Thanks. I'm trying my best.
Again, just wait and see.
7258951 You're welcome.
Oh I'll be waiting alright. With popcorn, some soda, and 3-D glasses. The whole shebang.
7258963 Well, I hope we don't disappoint. I look forward to seeing you two again.
7258966 Er, you too?
I'm sure you won't. *smirk* Just make it jazzy and you've got my full attention.
7258974 *chuckles* I'm sure the boss will try.
7258977 He better or I'll be sorely disappointed and ditch this joint.
Um, to be clear, that doesn't count for me as well.
7258986 Well, we'll just see how this turns out for you.
I would hope so. I'm just trying my best to make a good story.
7258997 Then I await how fate plays out.
Don't we all?
7259001 To quote William Shakespeare's Hamlet: It shall be so.
Fair point.
7259006 Ooh, getting into quoting from famous pieces now, are we? Then I take your word for it and see if you deliver.
No worries as long as a chatpter is good I don't really care how long I wait
Abyss takes a sip of coffee:And you are doning a great job so far, keep up the good work.
7259049 Thank you very much. I'm still new to writing, but I'm glad others are enjoying it. I just hope the other chapters will be as good.
No no. "A song of Ice and fire" is the name of the series. While "Game of Thrones" is the name of the first book. Just pointing that out there.
7259973 Oh, sorry about that. I'll fix that real quick. Thanks for pointing that out. There we go. I fixed it.
Alchemy: I like this girl.
7269664 *blushes* O-oh, thank you.
7269674 Alchemy: Anyways you looking forward to joining your new school.
7269731 Y-yeah, but I am a little nervous. I just hope I get along with everyone, unlike at Fillydelphia.
7269745 Alchemy: I see... Bad times? *he says slightly worried.*
7269768 *looks down slightly* You could say that. I got teased a bit at school, especially by other girls. Even the ones I liked would bully me.
7269772 Alchemy: *put's a hand on her shoulder.* Well let me say this... You have a friend here if you need to talk about it alright.
7269776 *smiles warmly* Thanks. I-I never got your name.
7269784 Alchemy: *blinks and laughs a small bit.* Right I'm saying all this and I never got yours either. *In his head.* I really need to get better about that. *out loud.* My name is Alchemy, Alchemy Star, may I ask yours?
7269790 *giggles* Well it's very nice to meet you Alchemy, my name's Midnight Sky.
7269794 Alchemy: Same to you Midnight that's a nice name.
7269800 *blushes slightly* Thanks. I hope everything works out here, my parents were lucky to get a house here.
7269807 Alchemy: Well it's a good town with allot of good people. What school are you going to be going to?
7269813 My parents got me in Canterlot High. They have friends that told them about how good it is, but also warned me about some crazy stuff that happens there too.
7269820 Alchemy: That's were I'm going and ya It's... *Thinks on what he said.* Crazy at times. I could give you a tour on your first day. *In his head.* What am I doing?
7269828 Thanks Alchemy, though I'm pretty sure the principal will already have someone to give me a tour.
7269834 Alchemy: That would be Sunset and her boyfriend Soul they do it for all the people that join CHS normally.
7269845 OK, then. *thinks for a little bit* I hope this school has a good library.
7269851 Alchemy: Don't even bother trying to spend time in their alone. *roles his eyes.* It's annoying at time's
7269854 Oh, really? I thought libraries were supposed to be quiet.
7269857 Alchemy: *Sighs.* They are... Unless my sisters friend's have something to say about it... Or Pinkie Pie if she finds you alone.
7269860 Who's Pinkie Pie?
7269867 Alchemy: She's part of a Party Planing committee and a one girl welcoming committee. *Thinks back on his first day and in his head.* I still regret befriending her. *out loud.* The moment she meets you she's going to try and befriend you like she does with everyone including me.
7269874 *giggles* Sounds like she really likes meeting new people.
7269876 Alchemy: Maybe a bit to much. She's nice enough just don't make her cry. *in his head.* Made that mistake myself.
7269882 Aww, I wouldn't do that to her. She sounds too sweet for that.
7269884 Alchemy: *nods.* agreed. One more thing do you know the whole story about what happened?
7269916 No. I wasn't told about it.
7269933 Alchemy: *Thinks.* Am I really going to explain it. *Out Loud.* Do you want the short version or the long version with all the hand signs?
