Spike accidentally encounter another dragon and this other baby dragon has a brother, those two reveals to Spike that there exist three dragon races which are Sky dragons, Water dragons, and Earth dragons. they are Earth dragons and much to Spike's surprise, they have a hidden history with Equestria's.
Spike has to become a part of this dragon culture and maybe, he will learn why he was handed to Twilight as an egg.

Good story. However, you switch between first and third person alot through the story. It has a really good plot and I like the general concept. Keep writing.
Well I like this story so far, I hope Spike learns some cool magic.
Really like this, but be sure to not mix first & 3rd person to much at times. It can get confusing.
So I would bet the reason why Spikes egg was given to Twilight, was because Celestia hopes for Spike to be a bridge for Pony & Dragons.

the Sky dragons do have magic, it is just not as strong as the Earth dragons.

If this story is going where i think is going then spike is the new earth dragon lord and its all thanks to ember and the gauntlet of fire.
you really need an editor, or, more specifically, one that knows that you should only put one character's dialogue in any paragraph at any time, mostly to avoid confusion of who's talking
seriously? Why doesn't Spike explain to them that Sombra (which they're CLEARLY talking about) was an evil dictator that fought AGAINST the ruling princesses and modern ponies... guilt by association; you'd think that beings that pride themselves in wisdom and knowledge would know how that's a bad thing, or even look into the matter AT ALL
By your headcanon, the dragons then have stronger magic than the ponies do, hm? Careful not to make your race the uber-species.
I do hope someone gets to put one of those earth dragons in his or her place. They're not proving to be very likeable as of yet. Rhys, for example, is a total jerk who deserves a humble pie to the face.
I wouldn't be able to read just based on the bad grammar and spelling.
