you should copy the text of all the unpublished chapters to new ones and delete the old ones – i think you had them visible before the story was approved, which means the feed chapter update notifications all appear on august 4th or whatever. instead of at the top, where people will see them. weird fimfic bug.
Glad I found this story, I've been waiting for something like this to pop up. Can't wait to see where you take us on this wonderful adventure in science and robotics. I'm a sucker for advanced A.I. and A.S. stories. (A.S. = Artificial Sentience)
My grin as Empty explained what Cherry would try to do was immense. I always love a good runnaway AI!
Holy balls Dolphin, how do you hear that monologue and think that Empty is worth keeping around? If all he wanted was to get his rocks off, then there are ways to do that without keeping a killer on a leash.

Criminal necessity and egotistical arrogance, Dolphin is knowingly sabotaging the project to his own ends, and defrauding Princess Twilight and the HC.
His plan is unworkable without Empty, and he clearly still believes that since 001 and Empty are both 'just machines,' he can always maintain control; utterly failing to appreciate that all it will take is failing to regain control just once, for him to end up dead, having unleashed a rampant malfunctioning AGI upon an unsuspecting world.
Honestly, the plan Empty laid out is almost a blow for blow paraphrasing of the 'Stamp Collector AI' thought experiment Computerphile featured on their YT channel a few years back.
Dolphin is a brilliant engineer, but a horrible pony, and is exactly the type of egotistical idiot that should never be allowed within a hundred yards of any machine intelligence research project; at least not without constant close supervision, and an armed guard present at all times...
