This story is a sequel to Opening Her Eyes

It was the day before Hearth’s Warming in Equestria. However, unlike the recent years, this time her friends wanted to spend some time with their own family and other friends instead of throwing a party in the friendship castle like they always do.

Because of this, Twilight felt lonely this time of year as she didnt know about it till the last minute, and it was hard to change plans, even for her. She expected to have a quiet day alone with her assistant Spike, when all of a sudden...

Somepony dear to her, unexpectedly, was heard knocking on the door.

Adorable! Cute, fluffy, and to the point! Great job! :3

Everypony outside panicked. “We’re dead! Everypony, run!” Starlight cried, and the group rushed down the hall. A loud terrifying sound of the massive doors swinging open reached their ears, and a Royal Canterlot Voice thundered over their heads:

"How Dare You, worms!"

The ponies crashed through another door into a tall round room and sprung down stairs, one of two stair flights symmetrically descending in curves along the walls.

"Behold My Wrath!"

One doorcrash later they were running through a very long hall. Fluttershy was flying wing-to-wing with Rainbow, Starlight below; Rarity dropped her ladiness and was competing with AJ for the second place; Pinkie was moving chaotically, though appeared to be everywhere.

It seemed there had never been such a spacious hall before in the castle.

The air darkened, filling with an eery purple glow, and more and more dark stars begun to fall from above. Starlight reacted instantly: "It's a trap! Side stairs, quick!"

It took them half-eternity to reach a wall, but finally they got to a narrow spiral staircase that pierced several floors of the castle at once. They nearly fell to the bottom. The corridors were wide enough here, they could see the light of the entrance hall from behind the next turn, but after turning they had to screech to a halt, pileing up, as a dark threatening figure stood in their way to salvation.

"The Mistress in unamused," it hissed, taking a step towards them; the former voice thundered above them again in evil laughing. The ponies screamed in fear.

And then it ended.

"So, you must be proud of yourselves," Tempest said coldly, examining her polished hoof; there was a smile in the corners of her eyes, though.

"Yes, I see you only find time for something like this," Twilight added, stepping down on the floor from thin air; she was smiling openly.

Starlight looked at her for a few seconds with an apologetic smile, then giggled nervously. Soon all the friends was laughing relievedly.

"That was awesome!" Rainbow shouted, throwing her hoof up.

"Didn't know Rares can beat me in sprint," AJ chuckled.

"I didn't believe for a second you could really hurt us," Starlight said, catching her breath.

"You know," Twilight replied, "when you spy on somepony, you definitely should do it better."

Uhhhhh....

Is this supposed to be an extended version of what I put in the story from Starlight’s perspective?😂

Yeah, this is^^ An alternative reality branch to yours, where M6's retreat receives extra development. I think there are odds Twizzle would do so )
