Thanks, that means a lot. I wanted it to be silly and sexy, but also bittersweet -- pretty ambitious compared to my usual stories. Many of Fluttershy’s fears were reflective of my own experiences, so maybe that helped.

There was definitely some mystical aspects to my sexual world building there. Equestria is a magical place, but I wanted to keep their spiritual sentiments different than Western and Abrahamic values -- more nature oriented, at least. The thing about Eastern mysticism though is the American hippie movement borrowed a lot of it in the ‘60s, and Tree Hugger is basically an Equestrian bohemian type, so the separation gets a bit blurry there.

I've read quite a bit of fan fiction, but there's been precious few that dive deep into the psychological aspects of sexuality that I found so fascinating, and you nailed that pretty darn well.

A delightful bit'a writing, all of sweet, silly, and sensual! And, of a very underappreciated pair, in my opinion.
I very much appreciated the characterization and the loving exploration of sexuality between these two. Although it happens quite early, it still leaves an impression of gradual build up. The actual sex itself is very lovingly detailed, too--it can be surprisingly difficult to encounter such cleverly lingo'd cunnilingus despite the prevalence of ff stories in this fandom! It did stray a bit into the purple here and there, but always remained in good taste, and personally I have a secret spot all my own when it comes to that sort of thing.
The thorough-plot centered around the party-planning was not something I was expecting. For me at least, this fit together quite oddly with the relationship building and sexploration aspects. I guess it just broke things up unusually. All the same, I didn't dislike it! If, say, it had been a separate story which this one interacted with at points, it perhaps would have been a bit less jarring, while also likely letting that concept be explored in more depth. As it is, it's still an interesting take on the setting and the main characters.
Also, I may never escape the term 'agitclop' which this piece has forged in my mind. Thanks for that!
Overall a lovely piece, and one of the better cases of earnest, loving mare-care I've encountered lately. Thank you for it! Although it appears you haven't published around here for some time, I do very much hope you've continued writing, at least so long as you still enjoy it. The passion in this piece was very nice.

Thanks for the review. Yeah that's pretty fair. I've never had the distaste for pervy purple prose that some people talk about. In fact I think it can be rather fun. Just as long as it fits the characters and mood. But most people don't write 8k word oral scenes either. So maybe that's just me.
Before writing this one I read a few FlutterPie stories to make sure I wasn't treading old ground. My favorite was Finding Her Smile by Bats, if you want a rec.
I'd like to write more dirty stories. I have quite a few ideas, and some half-finished stories sitting around, but none of them are exactly high concept. My Twi/Tempest sequel had some pretensions of sophistication with character arcs and themes, but it's just a muddled mess. I'm not so good at translating emotional dynamics into plots. At some point I'd like to summarize some ideas and see what people found interesting, but I already wrote about doing that awhile back and never followed up.

Yep, that's pretty much my sensation. There are times when it can run away with itself and lose you, but if nicely maintained it can carry a reader to really vivid places--which works especially well for a drawn out, emotion-driven orgasm especially. In this case, I'd say you succeeded in the later, at least from my perspective.
I'm actually familiar! It's a lovely little story in it's own right and on my flutterpie shelf (which reminds me, I need to add this one.) It overlaps in the one major area of Fluttershy's sexual exploration, but the approaches taken are very different.
Actually, that brings to mind another point that I appreciated in your fic--Pinkie! You do a very nice job keeping her brand of energy and humour, which for many is a struggle in and of itself, let alone translating it into something erotic.
If I might make an unorthodox recommendation back, if it's a medium you don't mind try checking out the free visual novel 'The Difference Between Us' by Robin Daydream. Some very loving flutterpie with some cutesy art to boot.
Do I feel you there! In the end, I suppose not every piece of erotica has to be something crazy-sophisticated, but when it comes to putting something out there for others to read, I definitely understand wanting it to be a bit more. I haven't read your other fic yet, but when I'm in the mood for something with a bit of a darker edge, I plan to! It's been a bit of a tough week so the love and validation in the face of looming disaster that this piece provided was very well timed, but I also tend to like some harder (and dommier) stuff when the mood is right.
Well, if you do happen to post such and I'm about at the time, I'd definitely be happy to chime in myself. I might be an utterly amateurish source of feedback, but you can probably tell I sure do love to chatter!
