I enjoyed this! It made me chuckle in all the right places and nod agreeably in all the other ones.
Only small thing I might have liked is a bit more exposition in that final scene on the station. I know the two stories link (and I enjoyed the Trixie x Jackpot story too) however I think a few more references or a bit More back and forth between the pair, maybe even Trixie quickly greeting Firelight before the train chuffs away, could have made that ending feel less like a nudge towards the other story.
