i think 16 Psychic Blanks are bit a overkill because even alpha level psyker needs 3 to make them weak. And one of thous blanks were sewed on the psykers body at least if you believe what was shown in pandorax book. And weren't blanks suppose to make psykers feel pain near them?

This inquisitor is really in over his head. If Luna is a psyker she’s alpha level at the least. It’s clear the only reason she’s still in her cell is because she literally has no where else to be.

it was in pandorax book where was this ancient grey knight switch was said to be Alpha level psyker, Abbadon wanted to capture him sou he made this trap switch would lead him away from the main grey knight force switch after he just took 3 blanks and just walked at him when he was in agony in the ground. Last thing we hear about him is that he is in a cell and one of these blanks are sewed in his skin.
