Honestly, I think this is un-fairly judged. When I saw this story, I thought this was a troll fic, or even just written badly. The truth of the matter is that the story is well written. The charaters seem very well done to the point of being some what show accurate. (Saying some what because some aspects would have to change to make it a clopfic; plus to work in the writers kink) Now let me get thid out of the way, the main kink of this fic being ballbusting. Yes, I understand. I'm not a fan of it either, I get that, but it's not like he doesn't give you a warning. Call it a rant or whatever, but I just never understood down voting because of the kink. Thanks for stomaching this whether you agree or not.
Contest judge leaving a few thoughts.
I'll admit straight away that this isn't my kink. As such I'm not going to really focus on that aspect of it. The writing here is pretty good and so anyone whose into this sort of thing probably enjoyed this story in that way.
So what else?
The dialogue is pretty good. Characterization is good. It feels like Twilight and Shining, or near it. But...
Where it all fell apart for me was the lack of any self awareness about what they were doing. The incest part of this fic takes a back seat to the ball busting. Were this not an entry in an incest themed contest I wouldn't have batted an eye about that. However, this is an entry in such a contest, and so I'd expect the incest to be at the forefront.
And that part is surely lacking.
There's really never a time when either character stops to question whether their incest is at all strange.. or wrong... or hot and amazing.. or really anything. They both act about as blase as can be about the whole affair. They treat their little sexual tryst with all the gravitas as a sister whose asked her brother to take out the garbage; and he's feeling really put off by having to
endure a little ball bustingtake out the trash.All that being said, I definitely haven't given this a downvote and I don't see a good reason that anyone should. If you put aside the kink aspects it's more well written than plenty of other things that get a flood of upvotes.
So, have an upvote at least. And keep writing.
