Actually, my therapist encourages me to get my feelings out by writing, and yes they know what I write. Because you see, they know the difference between fiction and reality and that creativity helps keep your mind strong.

Yes, I can vouch that the mental health system sucks after getting a $2000 bill for 12 hours at the hospital, in which time I was given no medication nor a room to myself. They just sat me in the waiting room between someone saying he was homicidal and some lady throwing everything she touched. GREAT place to sit the one having a paranoid episode, right?
So I don't go there anymore. I can sit and wait for it to end at home. At least I randomly get cuddled by cats there, that's much better treatment than they gave me.

My mom had a major schizophrenic episode in 2012, and when I went to visit her while she was on psychiatric hold, it quickly became clear to me that the very disinterested staff were basically warehousing their patients in a building as outdated as a 1970s motel and not really doing anything beneficial for them at all.
The fucking state of the mental healthcare system in this country is a joke. Writing fanfics is better therapy.

Amazing as always, especially loved the dialogue and descriptions of pain. I’m normally not a fan of scat and piss, but the use of it in this fic for pure cruelty and torture was 10/10.
