After escaping their stone imprisonment, the ex-villains of Equestria, Chrysalis, Tirek and Cozy Glow go on an unexpected journey together, where along the way, they’ll discover there's more to each other than they first thought, opening doors to bonds they never would of thought possible.
Is power really just all Cozy needed? Outside approval what Tirek wanted? Or a new place for Chrysalis to belong? What do these three very different creatures have to learn, or gain, from each other?

I have been waiting for a story of this type for a long time. Looking forward to the next chapter.
At some point they should consider that if it hasn’t been all that long - say, twenty or thirty years - then they’re coming at this with a lot less then they did before and going after Twilight and her allies when they have a lot more. Tirek isn’t exactly in the wrong by wanting to take some time to assess the situation.
I fully expect Chrysalis to come back to them just as she did in “Frenemies”.

Great start! I'm liking your depiction of the trio so far. I think it makes sense that Tirek would be the first to give up. I do wonder how they got free from the stone though. Maybe the spell was faulty or there was some sort of incident that despelled a bunch of things. Could even be Discord's doing. Either way, I can't wait for more!
I hate how the finale turned the heroes into such cruel people.
So the comics are canon here. I wonder as to what extent.
A fact that sadly often got forgotten by much of the characters.

This definitely has potential, and I'm always looking for good fics with Cozy playing a major role, so I plan to stay tuned! I also thought I'd point out some minor typos.

Good story so far! It’s well written, and handles the character aspect well. I’ll give it a follow. I also didn’t like their fate on the show; it seemed uncharacteristically cruel for the ponies to do. I do want to know how long it’s been as well; most of the ponies really could be dead by now. I look forward to more updates.
Promising start. Characterization looks good. I especially like your portrayal of Chrysalis and Tirek. They feel very in character so far. Can't wait to see more.

The way you had Chrysalis react to the hive felt very in-character for her. I'm almost surprised that no one called her disguise. It looks live vengeance has been denied for these three. I wonder where they'll go from here or if they will meet some of their possibly still alive old enemies again.
So her descent into madness came much earlier here then her getting overthrown.
So Twilight did outlive her friends...

Most of the story is written quite well, and written in past tense, but there's a few spots (like the one above) where it switches to present tense momentarily and makes it a bit jarring for readers, but I only found two other spots where this happens, so they don't detract from the story too much.
