The immediate aftermath of The Last Day is something I've want to see covered in a fic. I'm looking forward to seeing what you have in store for this.

Appreciate the interest—it's an aspect of FoE (and mainline Fallout, tbh) that I've found compelling as well.

Stumbling across little stories in the wastes....piecing them together...it's really what gives Fallout a lot of its flavor and uniqueness as a setting.

Why isn't there an anthology tag?

How many stories are going to be in this anthology?

The five entries included here, I would say. (Any future pieces would find themselves assembled under a different title.)

That was a cool little set of snapshots around the Last Day.
Good to see little glimpses of the chaos that you only usually get given across in terminals or audio logs or memory orbs in main stories.

Well, that was horrific. I've never thought much about the immediate aftermath as Equestria tumbles downward into being the Wasteland. This should be an interesting fic.

Hope you found it interesting there, Alchemik.

It was an idea I really liked when it came to mind—something like the small glimpse the player gets of the prewar US at the start of Fallout 4. For the vast majority of ponies in Equestria—the 99+%—the Last Day was the last day. Since only survivors live to pass on their stories, it's sometimes easy to forget that.

Yeah, it was really interesting. Something of a chilling reminder, as well. We tend to just think of the Last Day as a precursor to the stories of Fallout Equestria, without actually giving it much thought besides what blew up where. But it was an apocalyptic event that didn't just ruin countries, it killed so many people. Thanks for the context. I don't think I'll be forgetting it.
