A reverse tale using Twilight instead of Dusk could be interesting, but could also become quite sexy, if not porn. As long as the author keeps it mild, I'd be curious to see how this tale develops...
Then again, I have no problem if things turn sexy....except for the "E" rating, of course.

I feel bad for the guard. It sounds like he needs a friend to talk to or therapist.
If I was Twilight I would hate him to, I would feel very uncomfortable with someone flirting with me and acting like the way he did, if I was a girl or course.
I was expecting to see the male version of Pinkie Pie first, I'm a little happy that the story is different from season 1 episode 1 already, usually most Author's who recreate Twilight meeting her new friends for the first time usually doesn't really "recreate" per se, and instead just copy off Season 1 episode 1 word for word, it makes the story boring very fast and nobody likes that.
This is the first ever story I came across where Twilight is the only mare of the main 6, usually either Twilight is the only colt of the main 6 or everyone of the main 6 is a colt.
Definitely unique and I'm already interested in the story.
AppleJack is probably the only one who would never have her name changed even as a male since it kind sounds like a name for female and male at the same time and someone agrees.
Rainbow Dash is another one.

So Twilight already has feelings for AppleJack, and Elusive, Rainbow Blitz, and Butterscotch has some feelings towards Twilight.
I think a relationship between Butterscotch and Twilight would be interesting, so far he's my favorite out of the other 3 and I doubt the male version of Pinkie would be any better.
Please tell me they go with Twilight, because she won't be able to weild the elements without them, except magic probably.
Unless it's one of those stories where Twilight bears all 6 elements of harmony, I love those stories.
Well next chapter will certainly be interesting.
