The pony that came back after 1000 years of exile to the moon was not the pony that Celestia expected. Instead of the menacing figure of Nightmare Moon what she instead got was a madly cackling alicorn rolling in a grassy field occasionally taking a break to stroke the lush green plants as if they were the most fascinating thing in the world.
While this was certainly better than the alternative Celestia was a bit miffed that her sister had not even acknowledged her presence before going to play in the grass. How could grass be more interesting than her?

Interesting backstory, though I'm curious why he will act so lovingly to the grass as stated in the story description. The chapter notes that he was able to make things to eat, so he obviously was able to transmute things into edible food... He should have been able to transmute grass into existence, no?

The grass is transmuted from moon dust so it might not be the best. Also it might be a case of being overjoyed to see and find stuff not made by them

Time of her to test the limits of her imprisonment. Would a rocket work? If not then perhaps the most insane but likely to work plan might be to strap a rocket to the moon and go to the planet that way. even if celestia stops it she can just keep it going to annoy her

It could be the case that the face in the moon is created from the harmony magic keeping Luna/Nightmare Moon trapped. It would make more sense than that thousands of kilometer wide head projected on the moon's surface being Luna herself, given what she's doing in the context of the story.

I like the premise, though I hope the fact that Luna was banished somewhere torturous to live will be addressed. Was it Celestia's fault? Harmony's? Both? A third party? A freak accident? And will the culprit, if any, face consequences?
I just can't imagine either Celestia or Harmony knowingly putting Luna through that unless this is one of those grimderp AUs where the positive authority figures are all secretly evil.
Normally when a character gets Isekai`d, they have little to no knowledge about their situation. This time, Luna has ALL the information. Not what I expected, but it is very interesting.
Does Luna have an IBM 704 to do her calculations, or did that come in after she returned to the moon?

So how what year is luna last reincarnation died with her mentioning my little pony maybe 2100 ish because she probably be using some future tech and slowly making celestia insane by ignoring her. Also will luna introduce the other villains with American firepower.
Watched hard. As long as the author doesn't fall into the pitfalls isekai often have of treating the other characters more like set pieces than actual characters this should turn out to be a great story. The writing is technically and stylistically great thus far, the concept is gripping, and the first chapter hooked me.

I'm looking forward to reading about the aftermath of Luna's return to Equestria. Specifically how ponies will react to finding out the extent of the suffering Luna went through on the moon, let alone the things she did to avoid going completely insane.
Interesting to see that Harmony placed a curse to keep Luna from leaving the moon. Or was it Celestia, using the power of the Elements, rather than Harmony itself? The latter seems more believable to me. I don't see Harmony being knowingly cruel, and I'd think an entity like Harmony would know what would happen to a pony on the moon.
Celestia though, I can imagine not realizing what she's actually done to Luna beyond leaving her alone in a cold dark prison. In fact, the fic summary supports that. I imagine that even if Equestrian science knows the moon is uninhabitable, Celestia probably avoided keeping up with advances in astronomy because the topic reminded her of how she failed Luna.
I genuinely wonder what it will be like when she succeeds, if she succeeds.
