How surprisingly intelectualy stimulating. I know this whole story basicaly corelates to clicking on the "core province" button.... But it's really nice to see the PP being spent.

Yeah, it's pretty niche. Equestria at War the mod has like 100 countries with 5ish paths each spread across 3 continents. The Barrad Magocracy is a minor country and "Viira the Goddess" is the secret route of the five that requires a very specific setup to even get to.
I highly recommend the mod. Hearts of Iron 4 has a very steep learning curve, but once you get over it, you get to experience all the alternate timeline shenanigans from the show. How would daybreaker become real? What if the sirens came back? What's going on with the griffins?
I've never played Equestria at War, though I have seen some footage before. Despite not knowing all the lore or details that this story is spun from, this has been a very enjoyable read so far.
I'm always eager to read a mind control story that explores the cerebral elements of how the power works.
I also appreciate how the mind controller has absolutely zero hesitation or conscious regarding these inhumane experiments.
I look forward to seeing more.

None of the characters with tags appear in the story. There are many references to canon characters and events, but the characters themselves are all characters from Equestria at War in a land far from Equestria.

I love villainous mind controllers, and this story is a great demonstration of how powerful such a spellcaster would be.
I think a mind controller would actually be more dangerous than a necromancer of equal power level.
This story, as a person who knows nothin bout psychology is so entertaining to read! Virra is also an EaW favorite of mine. I hope to see more in the future :)
Viira's use of her magic is cold, calculated, and brutal in its effectiveness. Just like Viira.
Soo she went to war with Kasa around November 1011..... I can never manage that, it aleays takes me too long, the kasans have a war with austurland, and then the larger (but uncored) territory is easy to take over.
