BTW, this RD crashed/can't be Wonderbolt/miss her tryout etc. started to be a little overused latley. I know that it's a rewrite of earlier story, one of the first about this I think(I didn't red original), I'm just talking about whole fandom.

and it was changed to Derpy as a nod to fans. In light of the subsequent controversy, and also because it was the way I had originally written this scene in this story, I have gone back to calling 
Ditzy Doo, using Derpy as a nickname she earned for her klutziness. Note that she is still wall-eyed in my scene and, since this is written fic, you can imagine whatever voice you want. This seems an acceptable compromise for all involved.

Hey all, just thought everypony would like an update. I sent the first draft of Chapter 6 off to my proofreader/editor tonight, so it's (hopefully) only a week or two out from getting put on here.

Ok, full revamp done - I consolidated 8 chapters into 4 (sorry if your comments got deleted). Did a quick and dirty patch of a rather big continuity error. (Pinkie never sad? Umm... what about her whole breakdown earlier in the story? D'oh!)
Also, changed the chapter names to be old-school anime-style names, cause that's the way I roll.
Well, I don't suppose anyone's even watching this anymore, but I'm being so slow with updates that I'm officially putting it on hiatus. I do have Chapter 5 almost done, but there may be some season 3 stuff that will affect what I'm doing, so I have to wait and see.

Though, how did Dash fly up to get a cloud to sleep on with her PTSD making her afraid of flying that high (and wing disabilities)? Really am enjoying this story, but don't forget about Dash's monumental list of problems haha.

Well, the physical part of her injuries only limited her speed. Also back in Chapter 3 I did say "After a few more run-throughs, a pattern emerged. Dash did perfectly well flying at heights up to about the level of two stories."
So, umm.... I guess it was a low-drifting cloud?
Or, perhaps her mind was so crowded with worrying for Pinkie and worry about the impending gryphon war, that the fear reflex never kicked in.
Maybe I'll slap a patch on this hole in the next chapter.

Could be as simple as fog. Dashie rounded up some low flying fog and condensed the fog into a nice cloud bed.

You may notice my last (real) update was in February, so other folks have been waiting lots longer (if they're still waiting at all). I still have to see if my proofreader is still on board after the year-long hiatus.
Oh yes! I'm still waiting here! I don't even remember anymore when I first faved this!... I'm just marathoning through all RainbowPie fics in General of the RainbowPie group for the Nth time, rereading stories and hoping others to be completed (with little succes so far...).
