Checking my messages here's what I read.
"Daring Do" Followed by "Rainbow Dash"
And all I thought was "Hey wait a minute did it change names" But nope it was Daring Dash.
Ok, I have to wonder WHY anyone would downvote this story?
I found it to be quite enjoyable. It was well written, and though it was shorter than what I normally prefer in a story, it was the perfect length for the tale that you told.

Here's to hoping Dash learns more from the story than the ending implies. (That having been said, short and enjoyable read. It just sort of stuck in my craw, the same way, say, that the Mare-Do-Well episode did.)

Which is why I don't hate, say, Mysterious Mare Do Well as much as others do (it's still not good, but I have other reasons to dislike it).

Arrogant Jerk Rainbow Dash isn't, no, but Element of Loyalty Rainbow Dash I have hopes for.
Besides, I'd hope that finding out you called your favorite author worthless TO HER FACE would serve as something of a reality check. (I am very much not a cruel man, but I would not have been nearly so forgiving in Novelle's position. Seriously, we have the next candidate for Buddha here.)
For the second time today I'm doing something I never do, except this time I just have to say that this was a spectacular work.
While I will usually prefer to remain objective on fictions like this, your portrayal of this new pony, author of the daring do series, was fantastic. I believe that Novelle should've had a secondary name, but I understand that it isnt your character, you did a great job. Another thing, the psycho babble, I can't get enough of it. Whenever one character completely defeats the other using nothing but conversation and absolutely no profanity, those are the moments that turn a good story into a great story.
I did notice a few things though, you mentioned the title of the book in the first paragraph, which is typically not a very good hook and did make me hesitant at first. You also used full capitlization to emphasize words, which is fine in casually conversation, but should probably be reserved there. Also at one or two points I was unclear on who was speaking for certain lines of text, though when you did this it was not hard to figure out.
All negatativities aside, which there are actually a lot less than usual, great job, this was a great piece of fanfiction. I'm going to keep a watch on you as an author an anxiously await any further works. 8.7/10 overall rating. Absolutely spectacular!

Seriously, thank you a thousand times for your kind words. As for the things you thought were wrong with it, I'll do my best to fix those issues. Oh, and fascicle is just a word I can see Twilight using. I actually had it written there before I titled the fic.
